NCC 59 Trinity 58 OT

Featured Replies

Breds hit a buzzer beater to pull it out. Thanks to 98 for the update...

Wow!!!!!!

I'm shocked congrats NCC.

David slays Goliath!! Way to go Breds!! SHOCK da' ROCKS!!

Shawn Meyer hits a 3 in OT from almost the exact same spot he missed one to win the JV game.

Fun game to watch.

I think Sewell ended up with 21? I could be wrong.

He is obviously young by his play and not as fluid as I thought I'd see. But he is VERY good. Always in the right spot, always balanced and always square to the rim. The fact that he's a Sophmore is sick, he was by far the best player on the court.

NCC jumped out to a 17-6 lead but T fought back after being down 8 at half. They went from 8 down at half to up 1 in about a minute and a half.

It was back and forth and went to OT.

Trinity led most of OT and was up 58-56 with about 8 seconds left and NCC got the ball drove and got a jump ball with 2.6.

Inbound and a 3 fromt about 4 feet outside the arch and ball game.

Great game. Exciting finish.

So nice he said it 4 times...

Quote of the night from an upset Trinity parent to an official in the JV game.....

"Come on, we're Catholic too."

I couldn't help but laugh.

Now, that's a good line. I laughed at that one reading it after the fact. :thumb:

8 three pointers made for NCC basically is the story behind this one. Almost half of their points were from behind the arc.

Sewell is as good a sophomore as I've seen, the only thing that kept him from scoring 30 was his coach. He sat out most of the 2nd Quarter when NCC made their run. I don't believe he was in foul trouble. He is as good as Simpson and McGraw already. Anyone know if he is really only 15?

3 treys for Conner. Lipscomb had 3 I believe and Pangallo and Meyer the sophomores each had one. Meyer's being the most important. Kudos to the Bellevue native, I know his Dad's a very proud papa and Granpa Skeeter is watching from the heavens.
