I believe he did say something like that, can't recall his specific wording but he was getting rid of all of them, if I recall.

I think he also said he had turned down a 7-figure offer to give his story to some news organization. I'm guessing he's currently re-thinking that decision.

 

Clemens may well have opened a hornet's nest by releasing a phone call that really didn't help his cause all that much (if any).

Lidocaine can come in topical form as well. LRCW may be able to help a little more but it's injected as a local anesthetic. It usually is in conjunction with a steroid, for instance cortisone. Most normal people will get a cortisone shot but since athletes have to endure so much wear and tear and pain, they'll add an anesthetic, in this case lidocaine. Nothing more than a pain reliever, I believe.

I looked up Lidocaine on yahoo, and seen that there is a patch, there is also a patch called lidoderm that has large amounts of lidocaine in it but I don't know.

I think you can take it in many other forms.

According to Michael Strahan's book, Lidocaine is "pretty much a Novocaine for the body." He says that "If rubbed on the skin in gel form, it blocks the pain from your nerve endings. But when it's shot into the body, it blocks the pain from every where."
