January 3, 200818 yr ^You can add in lack of a good game plan and in game coaching. :thumb: Nail on the head. From what I hear, the verbal berating of the players in practice is relentless. By no means am I saying that I want the coach to be soft. I think you can tear them down and build em back up, but hardly any of the "building back up" is going on. Compliments/positive feedback in practice occurs about as often as snow in Hades. At some point, continued beatings without throwing the dog a bone everynow and then will lead to apathy.

While the bottom of the roster needs an upgrade, UK has plenty of talent to win games... Yes and meeks and Jasper have been hurt 3/4 of the season.
January 3, 200818 yr Remember, We only have 1 big man that can play. Stevenson was a 4 star, but he IS CERTAINLY NOT a 4 star player. Patterson is the only big man that has TALENT as you say. You need at least 2 or 3 QUALITY, I am not talkin about stars, just quality big men to play competitive college basketball.

When healthy UK is talented in 3 of the 5 positions, BUT 0 backups. Without Meeks and Jasper this team is not more talented than G-W or SD, period. :thumb: Great post!
