SEC is 4-0. Can they win out?

Featured Replies

As of now, they SEC is 4-0 in bowl games. Can they win them all??

I hope that they win out and lose the last one.....GO BUCKEYES!!! :D

Quite possibly.

The remaining games are as that follows:

Tennessee VS. Wisconsin

Florida VS. Michigan

Arkansas VS. Missouri

Georgia VS. Hawaii

LSU VS. Ohio State

Florida and Georgia SHOULD win their games.

Tennessee and LSU will have more difficult opponents but they most likely will win.

The big one that will decide if they go undefeated in bowl games is the Arkansas/Missouri game.

Hopefully Arkansas will figure out a way and the other SEC teams will follow through...

Just a fact but all the SEC wins in the bowl games this year have only been by one score

Quite possibly.

If Arkansas can play the way they did against LSU, I think they can win against Mizzou. The uncertainty with the coaching situation and the McFadden drama may make it tough on the Hogs to be focused.

I totally agree.

McFadden will have to have a BIG day like always for them to do this but like you said, if he performs like he did against LSU, I can't imagine what will happen when he plays Mizzou.

I think we can all agree that LSU has the better defense that Missouri.

If they win 4 of 5 remaining games, it'll be an impressive total. Go SEC!

I think you are pretty much right on. When I saw the bowl match-ups, I thought the SEC had a chance and I think they have a better chance now. I dont think Missouri is as good as their ranking and Hawaii is a joke against any top team. I think Florida could beat any team in the country right now. The toughest game may prove to be Ohio State although I think LSU is the clearly better team. Go SEC!!:ylsuper::ylsuper:

It would be awesome if the SEC could run the table. Has there ever been a conference with nine Teams playing in Bowls, that went undefeated?

I believe Florida, Georgia, and LSU are locks. Not as sure with Arkansas and UT.

Just a fact but all the SEC wins in the bowl games this year have only been by one score

Just a fact but the team who scores more wins...:thumb:

I think the two swing games are Tennessee-Wisconsin and Arkansas-Missouri. Both of those will be tough games. The SEC has been darn impressive!

Very good point:thumb:

I certainly think that UGA will beat Hawaii as well but their QB and that offense scares me some. Brennan can throw the football and as accurate as anyone he and that offense can always be a threat. I do think that UGA can over power them though. I really don't think that Hawaii hs seen a defense as good as UGA's this season and I don't think that their defense can stop UGA's offense, they can hurt a team on the ground and through the air. I think that Missou could beat Arkansas, I have picked Arkansas as well but imo Missou can beat them, especially with H. Nutt leaving . Interim coaches for the most part don't do very well in a bowl game after the head coach has left. I agree on Florida as well but imo Michigan will be laying it all out for L. Carr in his last game Michigan has the talent to make it interesting. As for Ohio State, I am an Ohio State fan but try and keep things in perspective (well, as much as I can anyway :D). I agree that LSU has a lot of talent and speed and are very good. I just really think that OSU has been on a mission ever since the Fla. embarrassment last season. This is a very good OSU team as well and imo a lot better coached football team than LSU. Should this one comes down to coaching then imo OSU has HUGE advantage. I pick the Buckeyes by 3 in a classic.

So........... With the exception of the BCS Championship game, GO SEC!!

Just a fact but the team who scores more wins...:thumb:

That will win a football game every time. ;)
