December 11, 200718 yr Sounds like a vanereal disease You sound like you've been through this one before... :walk:
December 11, 200718 yr Sounds as if you had a problem with the sciatic nerve, aka ischiatic nerve. It runs from the lower back into the leg area. It is the largest single nerve in the body.Is my guess also and if so, can last for several weeks, plus extremely uncomfortable. If there is some numbness involved, it may very well be.

December 11, 200718 yr It hurt when I tried to go to sleep. I sleep on my stomach... don't how that would effect it...but it did. I think the sleep or sitting position helps take the pressure off of the nerve. My pain was caused by several herniated disc. The only way I could sleep was on my back with a pillow under my lower back. I feel for anyone that has back pain.
December 11, 200718 yr While I was in high school I had two ruptured disc in my back and the pain was not in my back but in my butt and leg. It was on the opposite side of where the disc were out. Get it checked out. If you have blown out disc then leave the chiropractor alone. He can do nothing for that.
