I understand some St. X kids came out for some final head knocking :thumb:.

 

It's an all-star game and it's $5.00 to attend at 2PM Saturday at St. Xavier(for those who will not be attending the UK-UAB game). The kids have to provide their own transportation to practice and the game, so many decline. Also, those who play basketball may not want to try to do both. I am disappointed that none of the Trinity kids chose to participate. But it does provide me an opportunity to wear my Green and White at St. Xavier's place one more time this year.

I have no way of knowing who was nominated. Only one person knows every nominee and he's not talking :sssh:. I'm looking forward to it just because it extends the high school football season one more week.:banana:

I don't know how the East chose thier team, but the West followed the guidelines of the GLFCA by picking TWO players off ALL 21 teams represented. (Breck. Co. did not nominate any players). Central Hardin had two selected, but one declined to play, the other teams ALL have two reps. and the remianing were chosen by position need.

Does anyone know if this game replaces the former Kentucky-Tennessee All Star Game of years past? If so, why is it not State wide?

The East's head coach is Louis Dover from Seneca. Coach Lucas was scheduled to be the head coach for the West team, but given the developments at Butler this week, I'm not sure about his status. Maybe someone else has more info. about that situation?

All State by the C-J usually comes out just before Xmas. All district a bit sooner I think... which means we are getting close.
