November 27, 200718 yr Agreed on all points. BCG even addressed his confidence issues. Do they still employ the team psychologist?
November 27, 200718 yr Point guard is the most important position on the floor. Not a strong point guard and team will struggle, in most cases. Younger levels it is even more important.
November 27, 200718 yr Agreed. An average NBA team, let's say the Milwaukee Bucks, average 97.6 points a game, which divided by 48 (minutes), is 2.03333 points per minute. That equates to a high school team scoring 65 points a game, or a college team scoring 81, if my math is correct. The NBA's stat may be a little high, but you have to take into account that these people are the best in the world at putting a ball into a hoop. Until they get into the Olympics.
November 28, 200718 yr Until they get into the Olympics. I am digressing here, but they'll be more than fine if they keep Kobie and Lebron together w/ Jason Kidd running the offense.

I was listening to BCG being interviewed BEFORE the Gardner-Webb game. He was specifically asked about the "basketball IQ" of the Wildcats. His response was very interesting. He basically said that they were trying, but that players (and I honsetly can't remember if he referenced the point guard position specifically or not; I do know that he never mentioned names) needed to be able to count to 10 at all times on the basketball court. Went on to say that at that point in the young season, the Cats were having a hard time counting to 5. A pretty telling comment; but not entirely unexpected with a new coach and new system.
