Extended forecast for Friday night is seasonably cold. Wind chill expected to be in the lower 20's and possibly upper teens.

One thing that concerns me, from a Lone Oak perspective, is this team's ability to play the high level necessary to win for the third week in a row. I've seen a lot of teams over the years that play a soft schedule during the regular season have trouble "bringing their A game" for three or more weeks in a row at crunch time.

 

It's something that might have bitten Marshall County in 2005 and 2006, when they made earlier exits from the playoffs than expected.

I think at this point the only upset would be if Lex. Cath. didn't win the title.

WPSD-TV will announce it on their website if they do ... my guess is they will.

I truly believe Coach Haskins will have them ready. Regardless of the schedule, these guys have been challenged to prove themselves every week and they've risen to the occasion each time. You ask a very fair question, but I see LO bringing their A game. Should be a great game between two fine teams!

BTW a team/coach can do whatever they want with their trophy, but I think it shows a lot of Disrespect to all the other teams that would love to be in his teams place. There are a lot more ways for a coach to get his team up for the next game then throwing a championship trophy...... Sorry, just pretend you have been there before, and get ready for the next game.....In all my years, I have never seen HHS, or CovCath do that, and my guess is they have a not more trophies in football than Warren East does!

I'm not a fan of either team, but it appears they never have been there before. That's the thing, HHS and Cov Cath. probably have trophy cases for their district and regional championships alone. Warren East has ONE regional championshiop, let them do with the trophy whatever they please.

It's their trophy, they can break it if they want to, break if it they want to, break it if they want to ... you'd break it too if it happened to you.

 

But I suspect it will be repaired and in the case before it's over.
