Hi guys. I have been out of town for about 6 weeks. What I miss?

Not much. Pretty slow in this thread.

Just wanted to put this into perspective a little more. Mr. Cecil also has 9 rushing touchdowns and 600 yards to go with it.

 

Also, wow! :eek: I didn't realize Conner had 25 TD's. That is a bunch! :scared:

 

Levi Rogers has 287 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns. (I am not going to call him Mr. Rogers, because that would start the "Won't you be my neighbor" song in my head.....oops, too late.)

 

Those 25 rushing touchdonws for Josh Conner are impressive. Zach Hurtt has 13 rushing TD's, too.

Mr. Network and I hope to meet up between 6:30 and 7:00. Along with anyone else that shows up.

What kind of fan base will LC bring to Ft. Thomas? If this was asked earlier sorry. Just curious if we need to bring in an extra set of stands or two as we have done in the past for hugh draws.

Great Uncle to Clay Cecil, Highlands QB, was injured during a game and passed away later that night. Don't know the year. Someone can help me out here. When you speak of Highlands Tradition the Cecil family is the first off your lips. Grandfathers, uncles, fathers, brothers, have all played Highlands football and continue to give back to the community and the football program.:thumb: First rate family.

He died on November 11, 1952. He had suffered a serious head injury in the last game of the year against Campbell County. Sadly, it wasn't known just how serious it was. He complained of a headache while out with friends that night, and later passed away.

 

In those days, the helmets were nothing more than plastic, and didn't provide much in the way of protection. They also had no facemasks.
