At this point, I'd trade my whole team for Brady and Moss and be comfortable riding them the rest of the way.

 

I have both Brady and Moss on my team and last week my QB and WR positions (Santonio Holmes was my other WR) scored 95.1 points, which beat 7 of the 10 teams in my league.

Bad trade

Here's a little breakdown thru this point in the season (fantasy points per game):

 

Brady - 30.5

Hasselbeck - 18.2

 

Burress - 10.7

Owens - 17.0

 

Bush - 11.8

Henry - 6.6

 

Miller - 7.8

Gonzalez - 8.8

 

 

So, maybe it wasn't that bad of a trade. I still don't like the idea of trading the top player in fantasy football, but if you break down the ppg difference (adding Hasselbeck since he'll be your new starter)...it looks like a wash. The biggest difference to me is that Brady is very consistent....these other guys can give you up and down production.

I can't complain about Bush...he's been pretty consistent for me this year after the first two weeks. I was hoping for a little more from him, but I'm not terribly upset with what I'm getting. He's been in double digits every game since week 2...

Again...I'd have preferred more production considering where I picked him, but I like the fact that I can count on him for at least 10 points per week.

I wouldn't have traded Brady, but on the bright side Hasselbeck is throwing a lot more in the recent games and Holmgreen said he wants to throw the ball a lot.

Good numbers....also, Hasselbeck's numbers have been way up lately, Plax's way down, Henry is hurt, and Miller's stats are from only a few good games.

Bush is doing well now, and in my league receptions are worth too much and Bush is solid there.

Do you really believe that if they're still undefeated going into Week 15 that they're going to be sitting Brady any of those games? I NEVER would have traded him, especially with Hasselbeck on the bench. You could have rode it out and if Brady was not going to play you just plug in Matt.

Part of the appeal of this trade is the point per reception factor with Bush. Although as my above post indicates, that appeal is diminishing...

Yeah, my league is very low scoring.

 

There have only been two 100+ games all year.
