Adair Co. defeated Barren Co. by 18 in their scrimmage Friday night at Adair.

How did Fleming do or was they there.Thanks.

They were not there. I believe they play later this week.

Panarama at Owsley...

Lee over Riverside by 40+

Estill over Redbird by a few

Whitley over Owsley by about 10

Owsley has a couple of players out.... they struggled a little last night. It's early and they will get better as the season progresses, but so will everyone else.

I didn't see the Lee game, but was told they were impressive. They have 6'6 player in Pelfrey and 6'3 in Charles, and some good guard play.

Estill beat Red Bird by 7, but trailed for much of the first half. Red Bird coach John Wilson is amazing. I asked him last night how long he had been coaching and he said 50 years! That's unbelievable. He said he coached for 30 years in the Harlan County public system and the last 20 at Red Bird.

Coach Wilson does a great job at Redbird, he always seems to find kids who can shoot the ball and they usually play pretty stingey defense. Last nigh looked like they got a little tired near the end.

Whitley did not play well in the first half, but came on in the second. They were missing three players who would have seen a lot of minutes. I thought Whiltey did a nice job defensively forcing alot of turnovers, although they missed some shots that would have given them a little more breathing room. All in all I thought it was a good effort from two teams with two new coaches.

How did Anderson County and Franklin County look at the Anderson County panaroma?

I agree. It's always difficult making the transition to a new system and coaching style. Both teams wills be much later in season.

Paducah Tilghman beat Pleasure Ridge Park at Grayson County ... adding the four quarters together, Tilghman won 82-69. Stefon Perry had 37 points for the Tornado and he and Isaac McClure both had double-doubles. Adam Delph led PRP with 28 points.

Both teams were missing a starter ... Tony Hazard for Tilghman and PRP's big kid, William Murry. Tilghman's point guard, Jeffrey Williams, went down with a sprained ankle in the middle of the third quarter.

I remember Coach Wilson from years ago, and besides doing a great job coaching he is also a class act.

Owsley County made a good selection in Noble and I'm sure that he will do a great job getting his new team ready and able.

Any more detail on this game?

I didn't get to see the Magoffin Vs Lee game but a parent of one of the Lee players said Lee won the first half but Magoffin won the second (apparently the game was broken into halves with the score being reset to zero for the second). I was told that Magoffin plays hard, physical style of ball.

Didn't attend but the CovCath web site shows that CovCath beat Bullitt East and will play Louisville Manual Saturday.... (2:30) 4:00

11/17 Bullitt East (Pre-season) Lou. Central W 61-44
11/24 Lou. Manual (Pre-season) Lou. Male

Any information about this preseason game?
