Who wins this regional championship on the hilltop in Cynthiana?

Harrison County, Greenup has only gotten this far due to the new playoff system.

Should be a great game on the hill. This will be HC 2nd Regional Championship in the last 8 years. Not sure if there have ever won one or not.

From the information given to me by a friend in Frankfort, Harrison County has some studs...and probably a lot more than the ones listed here.

 

Isaac #4 QB

Talbott #20 TE

Newby #25 TE

Sharp #32 RB

 

It appears that the injury bug has greatly affected this team earlier in the season and they are playing great ball now. Even though I picked Greenup County, it will be a difficult task for them to "climb the hill" to Cynthiana.

 

Note to Greenup, leave the fans in the stands this week.

Issac played the entire game and did a very nice job. Talbott didn't play or dress. Newby #25 had a great game 220 plus yards rushing.

The Breds played much better as a team without all of the distractions. It's a shame that they didn't realize this a long time ago in football and basketball.

The young man you are talking about is a senior this year and hasn't played football or basketball since his sophomore season...sounds like you are one to discard or cast off troubled kids...you need to be kinder and gentler.

I didn't mention any names. But apparently you are one who condones distractions and have put distractors on a pedestal in the past. Sounds like you put more faith in your troubled kids who are never there when you need them, who put forth very little effort in practice and who are a distraction to your team compared to those who show up every day, give 110% and never cause any trouble. You need to wake up and see that bailing troubled kids out over and over and over again is not the answer. It's not a matter of being kinder and gentler, its using a little common sense when it comes to proper discipline.

If Harrison Co can handle Franklin Co like they did, I see no reason to think they can't do the same vs Greenup,,,HC 35 GC 14

I think Greenup has finally hit their peak and I'll give them a 30-21 win over Harrison!
