November 13, 200718 yr He called GT for his approval...:lol::lol: Actually I believe that everyone expected this, I know that I did. I personally wanted to see him the forever. LOL
November 13, 200718 yr Any idea, who his replacement will be or those which are interested. I can't open the link, for some reason.

November 13, 200718 yr Any idea, who his replacement will be or those which are interested. I can't open the link, for some reason.I am a huge Michigan fan. I hope he does retire and takes Debord the offensive coordinator with him. Too many weapons at reciever to not mix up the play calling. I am so so on Miles. I Love his enthusiasm and get in your face attitude, however question some play calling he does. The names I have heard on the Michigan boards are: Miles, Brian Kelley from Cincinatti, and Jeff Tedford from Cal. I really like Kelly better than all I have heard. He already cleaned Debords mess up once at Central Michigan and is doing great job at Cincy. His defense philosophy with UM's talent would mix nice.
November 13, 200718 yr This will be the greatest week in Michigan football history as long as UM wins Saturday.
November 13, 200718 yr Author You clearly know very little about Kelly's defensive philosophy. I see zero chance of Kelly at UM. It will be a Michigan man. Count on that...

You have your opinion I have mine. Either way I will be happy as long as Carr does retire. ( I do hope it is a retirement because he is a very likeable guy and has won a national title a UM.) I have heard Bill Cowhers name as well but I felt that was people just throwing names out. Anyone else heard this?

November 13, 200718 yr Author Here is an off the radar name I've heard a few times. Mike Trgovac is the DC for the Carolina Panthers and played and briefly coached under Bo. If Miles turns it down he will get a serious look...
November 13, 200718 yr Maybe this is for another thread, but if Les Miles is the choice, any chance the the Falcons and Petrino agree to part ways?
