I can't see Hazard losing at home in this one.

What was the final score of the regular season game that was played at Cumberland? Was it a game that Cumberland could have won, or were they just beat by Hazard? Also, are there any key injuries for Hazard or Cumberland this week?

Cumberland is one of the most talented single A teams in the state and they stand a very good chance in this game. They can run, throw and defend. Everything is screaming upset.

Cumberland dropped an interception right before halftime that would have been an easy return for a TD. Which woud have made the score 21-20 Hazard at half. However the interception was dropped and the halftime score was 21-13 Hazard. In the second half Hazard outscored Cumberland 25 -7.

Blowouts in the regular season are turning into victories for the blown out in the playoffs right now.....Hazard has a history of folding this time of year. Anything can happen with a team that is not ready to be done, and when Cumberland is done this year, they are done FOREVER. I still don't look for them to manhandle the 'Skins, and don't forget, if Lynn Camp could have moved the ball a few weeks ago, Hazard was beat. 4 point game to a team very similar to the 'Skins.

 

No one should be shocked if the Cumberland Redskins take down the all powerful, do everything Dawgs!!!! They have proved they can either a.) Be stopped by a physical defense or b.) Have a bad night offensively. Either one can get you beat this time of the year.

Daddy Cat let it go!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have trashed Hazard all year, sure you played a great game against Hazard w/out your best player, but Hazard played there worst game of the year and we still won.

 

Hazard does have a tendancy to choke this time of year but I feel this team is diff. Hazard does not have senior that starts offense, so maybe lynn camp can get another shot at stopping us next year.

 

We were hopeing you would get to come over to Hazard again this year but the "full of class" campers got beat.

#1 Was giving praise to the way Cumberland plays, not trashing Hazard.

#2 Did not say anything about Hazard losing early in the playoffs that was not true over the last few years.

#3 Cumberland is being given very little shot, so I pointed out some reasons why they had a chance.

#4 LC was my frame of reference game on how I thought Cumberland may be able to win.

#5 I pay my yearly dues on here, just like everyone else, spent over 20 years defending freedom of speech, and, by golly, if you like it or not, I'm going to use it, reececade1.

#6 LC did not play so well that night on Offense, so we all have off nights.

I wish you didn't bring that up cause now I'm a little scared for the Hounds against Middlesboro because that is a true statement.

 

As for this game, My head tells me Hazard will win but the Redskin blood in me says that the Skins will gut it out and live to play another week. I'd love nothing more than to see Cumberland go out on a good note by making it to Louisville. Just like UK says, You Gotta Believe!!! We're pullin for ya down here in Corbin Skins!!

The score was 20-12 at halftime. Cumberland probably would have gone for two to tie it.

Hounds will do fine friday, also.

If Hazard can effectively RUN the ball, score when the opportunities come, and keep the ball away from the fast paced, big play offense of Hazard, then they can win. They've gotta play up to Hazard's level this week. Being a mountain boy: C-35 H-24

My head says Hazard, but would love to see Cumberland pull the upset. I seem to pull for those "old" district 7 teams!

I'm going with the SKINS.... they have a bunch of good kids and i dont seeing them laying down for nobody... SKINS by 7
