Trimble will have no chance against Frankfort next week. As far as the passing game everyone was talking about Trimble had, I am still on the field waiting to see it!!!

Trimble defense must of been great.

I know that Gallatin had to use their 3rd string QB.

 

Trimbles O managed one scoring drive in the fourth quarter, rest of the game they were shut out. Their other score came on a fumbled handoff. Gallatin had couple chances to score but just couldnt finish. If you like defence this was a game to see.

Gallatin had a great season..and they have a mostly really nice fans. Unfortunately comments like this make others pull for the other team.

 

I hope Trimble pulls the upset on Frankfort, if they do it makes all of our small schools look good.! Gallatin included..!

Seems to me like the GC fans cannot handle a loss to a team that deserved the win. Trimble came into "Sawville" and took care of business. They are the ones moving on to face Frankfort. There is no reason to put a team down that beat yours just because you are a "sore loser". The comments on these threads show how unclassy some fans are. I am disappointed that some fans would say the things they have. Good luck TC!

I could pull up and dish our plenty of retorts from the thread from the regular season game. Let it suffice to say that the Raiders would not be denied this game. That should make all of TC very proud of what you have done. After the devastating injury to Bird, you now never know which player will pave the way to victory. Though this win belonged to the team, I would say that Jesse Peters very humbly deserves kudos!

 

Great job to Coach Poynter on getting the boys prepared and making adjustments at halftime.

 

Also, I must say that I was suprised by the crowd. I expected Gallatin to have a tremendous showing, considering other athletic events that I have attended in which the GC faithful made the place roar. Was there another event occurring that drew the fans?

 

Speaking of fans, Trimble's were awesome last night! I think that they at least evened Gallatin's numbers. Their cheers could still be heard over the gas powered lights! Thank you fans!

 

As for next week, I have always cheered for the team that defeated us in playoffs and would have done so for Gallatin had they won. Every "real" fan should be upset when you are "ousted" from the playoffs. Everybody has been running their mouth on both sides all week and that leads to tension the day after a game win or lose. Good game last night and good luck to the raiders next week. As for the wildcats we will focus our anger to another sport and move on.
