November 7, 200718 yr Isn't this the week he gets to play? If so, do you put him right into the 3rd receiver spot like nothing has ever happened?
November 7, 200718 yr Isn't this the week he gets to play? If so, do you put him right into the 3rd receiver spot like nothing has ever happened? If you want to win any games, then yes, you put him in right away. He is the best receiver on the team.

November 7, 200718 yr Except for Chad Johnson and TJ, I agree with you 100% Athletically, Chris Henry is better than both of them. JMO.
November 7, 200718 yr Athletically, Chris Henry is better than both of them. JMO. Possible, but unlikely. To me, without Chad threatening deep, T.J. isn't AS effective, and therefore neither was Chris Henry. Not to say Chris Henry is no good, because Glenn Holt and Chatman couldn't do nearly what Henry did in the same role. Maybe Chris Henry is better than TJ.
November 7, 200718 yr Against Baltimore, especially if Rolle and McCallister are lame, I'd empty the backfield, play with 4 wides.
November 7, 200718 yr I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Chris Henry is almost a clone of Randy Moss physically and athletically. He is the most talented receiver on the team IMO, he just needs to keep his head on straight.

November 7, 200718 yr Author Athletically, Chris Henry is better than both of them. JMO. More talented, I might agree with you. Better, no. Better means that discipline-wise and willingness to go across the middle, he is better. By no means does he beat out TJ in either of those categories.
November 7, 200718 yr If you want to win any games, then yes, you put him in right away. He is the best receiver on the team. He should be the best, but I don't think he his. He has the most potential and is the most gifted physically, but he just doesn't have the work ethic, desire...and sense. That's why Chad and TJ are better. But, I certainly understand your point and agree with it. From a defensive perspective, I think Chris Henry might have as big of an impact, if not bigger, than anyone on the Bengal offense. When he's on, I agree with UKMustangFan, he can be similar to Randy Moss in what he brings...he is big, strong and fast...can get deep and jump over guys to catch balls. That is a nightmare for defenses and they have to account for it at all times. His presence opens up a huge amount for Cincy's offense whether he catches a pass or not. His lack of focus and such kills him...he drops easy passes, seems reluctant to go over the middle, etc...if he could get his head on straight and follow Chad and TJ's lead when it comes to desire, toughness, work ethic, etc...he could easily be a top 5 WR in the NFL, IMO. His physical gifts are above 99% of the NFL's WR's. Mentally he's probably at 1%.
November 7, 200718 yr Whatever plans the Coach had for Henry may have just changed. It has been reported in another thread that he may be in trouble once again. Sad story if true.
November 7, 200718 yr I think they should start him at corner. They need some serious help in the secondary.
