Any Truth to the rumor that BC two QB's are sitting this one out??

I saw one of them playing basketball the other day.

The Barnes kid was not the QB for the Paris game,

Wigglesworth was, and did a fine job. If I can recall from my memory

Barnes played on special teams/punt return, but I don't think he had many yards,

I don't think he can do much "out of the pocket". He's quick but is easily tackled.

If that is true, it is very embarrassing.

I agree the fact that they are already being seen at basketball is embarassing. The AD there should put a stop to that.

What kind of parents would let their kids quit on their team! I would NEVER let my kid quit on his team mates! There is no way to justify it! If you start you must finish or you are gutless!!!

I think they figured Paris was their last game they had to get "ready" for. I think Bourbon maybe going down hill again if that is possible, as evident why some of the players have already put in their season. I think it's time for a better coaching regime in Bourbon.

Don't blame the coaching staff. Blame the parents for letting there kids to be quitters. :thumb:

IMO- they built their season around to beat Paris. They called it "the game".

They had/have no shot in their district at the present time. Actually they would've had no shot in Paris' district, if they could play Class A.

 

If I am not mistaken, one of the QB's dad is an Asst. Coach for Bourbon Co. Colonels.

Gutless is an underused term in today's PC society, but it is still applicable.

I've been told one kid, that is a senior, and is QB has a scholarship offer to play basketball at a EKY School.

If all this is true, I am suprised that his dad would let him quit.
