November 5, 200718 yr It's all good. You also do a good job on here. I would come up with a clever quote from Scarface (the movie) on here but I'm too tired and it could lead to a quote war that could last several years and cost thousands of lives---LOL. Take care.

November 5, 200718 yr You all keep getting on this secondary, and no doubt they aren't doing great. But however as I been saying all year, we could have a secondary of all pro bowlers and teams still woudl pick us apart, because our Defensive line is terrible and NEVER get a CONSISTENT rush on the passer. We always have to send a lot of people to even get pressure on the QB, and usually we still don't get much pressure on the QB... If we have a top 10 pick this year, I would actually chose a stud Defensive lineman over a linebacker...I mean if you all look we have been bad all 5 years under Marvin, and what is the one thing that is the same for most part that is the defensive lineman. We have used many different linebackers, different secondary people, and we have still been terrible. However we have had Justin Smith, Thorton, Robinson, Geathers, etc for most of the years under Marvin, and each year we have been terrible. I really believe our defensive line is the biggest reason why our defense has been so bad for the last 5 years....

I'm sorry and I know that isn't a popular position but Marvin stinks on ice......
November 5, 200718 yr Marvin himself hasn't helped.....even a little bit. I'm sorry and I know that isn't a popular position but Marvin stinks on ice...... His game planning, time management, talent evaluation and much more leave a lot to be desired...
November 5, 200718 yr His game planning, time management, talent evaluation and much more leave a lot to be desired... He is a good guy, which is a novel concept in today's NFL and I'm sure he has the right idea about how to play the game. However, he is not, and will never be a winning coach in the NFL.

With what he gets here, it will never happen... :thumb: And from the other night on another thread, GT you now I don't have a problem with you. I just don't always agree. And I get around (at least the SEC) more than you might know.......I just don't get paid for my opinion......I couldn't afford the pay cut for my opinion.:lol::lol:

As for getting paid for my opinion, there is no doubt I'm taking serious pay cuts for it. Stupid dreams...

Stupid dreams... Yeah, but I'd still like to be getting paid for it. With my job I get to go to a lot of SEC sporting events on business but I have to bit my tounge at times--even when I'm not talking about UK--LOL. You've got a good show and you know your stuff. I think you bring a ton to the site.
November 5, 200718 yr The Bengals are one of the 5 worst NFL teams, the Reds are also one of the 5 worst MLB teams. The Cincinnati teams may be the worst baseball/football combo teams in the league(s) at the present time. Arguments? I agree! With the Bengals tanking the Reds talk has picked up on another thread and the optimists are calling for vast improvement with the same team. Quite comical. I guess I'm more upset with the Bengals demise though.
November 5, 200718 yr His game planning, time management, talent evaluation and much more leave a lot to be desired... He really has turned out to be a poor on the field coach. Disappointing at best.:irked:
November 5, 200718 yr The Bengals need a pash rusher or two more than they need a linebacker. I am starting to fall off Marvin's bandwagon. Not for the losses as much as the perception that he has no control on this team. I hope CJ is ok, imo, his "injury" was a by-product of his bad play. I hope I'm wrong, just a gut feeling I have.
November 5, 200718 yr Your franchise tag is tied upon a guy who makes 80% of his tackles 8yds down the field. He should be on the sideline. There'd be a good place to start. Brown was quoted in the Enquirer of Sunday that he sure hopes that he can bring Smith back. He has an A grade motor and they really like him. One word comes to mind: WHY?????????????
