Bills 33 Bengals 21

If it isn't on a linebacker — and then the next four picks aren't on LBs — then the Bengals' flirtation with the big-time was a one-year shot. And I have no confidence in the way the organization runs to assure me they'll go this route.

I honestly think they should take the BEST available player. They need help in all aspects of the game.

And I honestly think they won't be among the first five or so picks. Which means that most of the available players — on a "best available players" scale — will be about even. So they should go for the best available linebacker so they aren't calling free agents in week eight trying to find a starter at that spot.

Watching Philly tonight they are in serious need of a WR. I say trade CJ for as many picks as you can and then who ever the Bengals are debating on whom to pick on draft day, pick the person they were going to pass over.

True, I like the LB out of Maryland (don't know his name) if we have to go after an LB in the first round.

CJ is scared and has been all year going across the middle. Its all the running of the yaps and now the defenses are headhunting for him. TJ takes shots all the time, CJ has alligator arms. Its a tough gig but man if they pay you like the Bengals pay him, you gotta make a better effort that what he has been giving.

Defense is horrible, tackling is a major issue with everyone on the team. Josephs is as bad as ARtrell Hawkins ever was. Dexter Jackson loves making tackles 14 yrds downfield and jumping up smiling like he did his job or something. Nice work DJ, no wonder Tampa cut your butt. Leon Hall is a rookie and we have nobody else to put out there. Only guys I see hustling and trying to make plays on Defense are Tahadi Jones and Schlegel but they are undermanned severely.

Rudi is overrated and goes down if you look like your going to put a hit on him or a paw. Time of possession will kill you on the road and not being able to run the ball was key in this stat.

Joseph and Hall are young.

Bottom line is if you give a NFL QB all the time in the world to throw the ball to someone, somewhere, they are going to be open.

The concession vendors were serving tea and scones to Losman while he was in the pocket.

Which is the worst signing?

ND and Charlie Weis signing through 2015?

Robert Geathers....is he playing this year?

Tagging Justin Smith?

For sure!

-how do you let Stienbach go???

The Bengals are one of the 5 worst NFL teams, the Reds are also one of the 5 worst MLB teams. The Cincinnati teams may be the worst baseball/football combo teams in the league(s) at the present time. Arguments?

I'm doubting it...

I'm doubting it...

Dolphins 0-8

Rams 0-8

Jets 1-8

Atlanta 2-6

Cincinnati 2-6

Oakland 2-6

At least Oakland had the top pick in the draft to trot out. Cincinnati probably just lost Chad Johnson and Rudi Johnson is a walking corpse. Why are they better than the other 2 teams? Even if they are then they are one of the worst 6 teams in the league. How many other teams get beat by 12 by BUFFALO? They stink on ice.......Tell me why I'm wrong.

I'm confused....Or maybe you are...Because I was agreeing with you..."The Cincinnati teams may be the worst baseball/football combo teams in the league". I agree. I mean I doubt there will be any arguments on that. Calm down.

Gotcha, I thought you were one of those disillusioned Bengals/Reds fans. I really do wish they were better but this is one of the worst pro sports team combinations inthe country. :thumb: You did say that you were doubting it, which makes it sound like you didn't agree.

I know the Bengals are terrible this season. I'm not really a baseball fan but I'm pretty sure the Reds have been celler dwellers for a while.

No problem, I gave you too hard of a time on a movie thread a week or so back so I don't want you to think it was personal. You do a good job on here.

It's all good.

You also do a good job on here.
