I do not think a triple OT loss by LSU or Oregon's loss to Cal necessarily has to make one drop behind a suspect tOSU team. If you did not know their records and asked who is better, LSU or tOSU, 9 out of 10 would most likely say LSU, seems logical to me. With tOSU lack of schedule, I believe many would question if they are even a top 5 team (not saying that is fair, but is the reality of the situation - same goes for BC, although they lost).

Well said:thumb: Especially because strength of schedule is given greater consideration in your scenario. A team that plays numerous top 25 teams and drops one of them is much more impressive than a team that goes undefeated having played a soft schedule.

Speaking of which, when they were beaten like that and then subsequently play a cake schedule, where their superlative win is over an overrated Big Ten team (and it's a down year in the Big Ten), I won’t rank them above teams like LSU and Oregon, who have proven their mettle.
