I think that OSU will lose the last 2 games of the season. The final score today was not at all indicative of the game. It was 17-17 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

And the Buckeyes responded in Blue Collar fashion by scoring 21 straight points and the D pitched a 4th qtr. shut out.

I agree the Badgers gave the Buckeyes a great test and once again the Bucks met the challenge and came away with the "W".

Michigan better worry about the Badgers first. Personally I don't see Michigan winning at Wisconsin, and I don't see them beating the Bucks either.

:thumb: I agree!!

Being an Illini Alum, I just might do that.

However this game turned out exactly as I expected. I predicted a 35 - 10 Buckeyes victory. This week I think the Illini will give OSU a great game, probably thier toughest of the year. It is extremely hard to win at the Horseshoe. I will be cheering for the Illini, but I think the Buckeyes pull out a close one. Something like 17-14.

Good luck to you guys. It is nice to see someone who actually knows one player on the team, or something about the program TOSU is playing.. instead of just hoping TOSU will lose.

Let me be the first to tell you TOSU is not taking Illinois lightly....They are a real up and coming program. If not for that Iowa 4 point loss.. you are a top 25 team right now. I have a lot of friends at TOSU and my cousin is a student trainer. Bucks know they will have to bring their A game! Good luck to you!

I was very surprised that Wisconsin was ever even in this game.

You thought they would lose to Penn State and Wisconsin too though didn't you?? Keep up with your "amazing" predictions, they are working very well :thumb:

As for the game, the Buckeyes keep on showing week in and week out that they are the best team in college football. Nice win to come back and take down #21 Wisconsin. I guess this STILL wasn't good enough for all the OSU haters. Oh well, a 38-17 win against a top 25 team looks VERY good to me

Some stats....

Todd Boeckman - 17 of 28 - 166 yards - 2 TD's - 0 INT's

Chris Wells - 21 carries - 169 yards - 3 TD's

James Laurinaitis - 19 tackles - 1 sack

Maybe some more OSU haters can start a " go Illinois " thread?

First of all, I was disappointed that this game wasn't on TV.

Wisconsin is a descent team, so I wasn't surprised. Furthermore, they are a team that always seems to have OSU's number. I also believe that Illinois will play OSU very tight.

Chris Wells is getting better each game, he seems more comfortable as each game goes on. He now has 1165 yards and 10 TD's. Also, his ankle injury appears better as he has gained 221, 133, 169 yards per game for the last 3 games.

I believe it was on the Big Ten Network which is a big crock if you ask me. They get to pick any games they want and pull them off of regular T.V. to show themselves. Thus forcing people to sign up for the network but odds are you won't even be able to watch the game you want to anyways.

There's a difference between hoping they would lose and thinking they would lose. I hoped they would lost to mighty Youngstown State, Akron, and Kent State, but that didnt' mean I thought they would lose those games. I think Illinois will provide a test and I think that Michigan will beat OSU if their stars are healthy.

Oh sorry. Well I hoped Michigan would have lost to mighty App. State and well look what happened?? They did

I was looking to this game to see how strong OSU really is. Unfortunately, with UW's 2 top backs out and their top receiver out, I can't tell. They did what they had to do. Still not sure as to their claim to #1.

Just remember, a loss is so much harder to swallow after you've been talking for weeks. :thumb:

Actually I think to the rest of us its just a football game and after January our lives more forward....win or lose. Your the only one on here with something to prove... while the rest of us are still trying to figure out what that is.

Well, maybe I'm deranged a bit, but after an OSU lost, I go into solitary confinement. I don't read the paper, watch ESPN, etc. It takes me a little bit to recover. Same way with UK basketball, but not as much in the regular season as the tourny.

Another great win over a decent team.
