November 5, 200718 yr Actually I think to the rest of us its just a football game and after January our lives more forward....win or lose. Your the only one on here with something to prove... while the rest of us are still trying to figure out what that is. If it was just a football game, you wouldn't be on here wasting your time defending your team.
November 5, 200718 yr Ohio St. has two tough games coming up that will determine if they play for the national championship or not..............I'm sure that the Michigan faithful would love nothing better than to be able to snatch that opportunity from the Buckeyes.

November 5, 200718 yr Author What do you mean go 10-1?:confused: :scared::scared: Oops!! :lol:another brain fart on the oldrambler.:lol: 10-0 !! :ylsuper: I did get the #1 Ranked Buckeyes part right though.:thumb:
November 5, 200718 yr Author Well, maybe I'm deranged a bit, but after an OSU lost, I go into solitary confinement. I don't read the paper, watch ESPN, etc. It takes me a little bit to recover. Same way with UK basketball, but not as much in the regular season as the tourny. :thumb: I am the same way over U.K. basketball and Buckeye football as well. I think that there are others this same way about their favorite teams.
November 5, 200718 yr Author And the Buckeyes responded in Blue Collar fashion by scoring 21 straight points and the D pitched a 4th qtr. shut out. I agree the Badgers gave the Buckeyes a great test and once again the Bucks met the challenge and came away with the "W". :thumb: The Bucks ran off 28 consecutive/unanswered points after falling behind 17-10. This was against a not great but a pretty darn good Wisconsin team.
November 6, 200718 yr If it was just a football game, you wouldn't be on here wasting your time defending your team. I will defend my team cause its my team. I used to be like you and realized its a game I have ZERO control over. When you age some more you will too realize its just a game and it shouldn't be treated like a religion or you need to take a step back.

I don't ever remember stating that I had any control over the games? Maybe you can point that post out to me.
November 6, 200718 yr The defense was younger last year...... and honestly the offense is better this year. Boeckman is more efficient he's 22-23 years old I believe, he's been watching a lot of football at TOSU and finally getting to play.... Wells is better than Pittman. The receiving corp is just as good if not better. Only player I really miss on O from last year is Ginn at this point. And to answer your last question... all of the SEC haters are only fueling this team with supreme... they love it. This team is playing with a real chip on their shoulders. By the way nobody thought we were going to man handle FL... The offense is better this year? Wow take off the glasses there SA...
November 7, 200718 yr The offense is better this year? Wow take off the glasses there SA... I am not sure the offense is better, but it is more balanced. I think the running game is much improved. Now the defense, that is a whole different story. I was never a believer in last years defense. Way too young and slow. While The Bucks lost some guys up front, the young guys have been more than adequate. the back seven is where I see the biggest improvement. As a group I would challenge anyone to name a better linebacking corps in the country. Again, I see the football world thru Scarlet colored glasses and I realize that untill tOSU plays a "speed" team they will be scrutinized. I really hope if the Bucks are fortunate to make it to the NC game, that they will take on an Oregon or LSU. Both show lots of speed. I really want a shot at LSU. I love their program and that is probably the only way we can forget the "Disaster in the Desert" OH-IO
November 7, 200718 yr The offense is better this year? Wow take off the glasses there SA... Last years offense did have Smith, Ginn, Gonzo, and Pittman but I like this years a little bit better. The Wells combo and Saine have improved the running game a lot and a lot of guys are starting to step up like Hartline, Small, and Nicol. The D is better this year also and the special teams has looked pretty good too.
November 8, 200718 yr ^Boeckman is proving to be a great passer, maybe a better arm than Smith. Wells is much better than Pittman. Pittman had some trouble hitting holes. All in all maybe not a better offense, but not too shabby. 2006-340 points scored through 10 games Avg=34 2007-349 through 10 games Avg=34.9 Granted there are some defensive scores in both totals.

Wells has had a solid season and the WR core has also done an outstanding job, especially BR. Boeckman does a good job of spreading the ball around and with a little more experience under is belt could become one of the best QB's in the game.
