August 8, 200719 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2965321 "He must fulfill some obligations to the program and to me before he can return," Fulmer read from a prepared statement after practice. "I have tried, as has the administration, to work with him, but at this time he must help himself."
August 8, 200719 yr You may never again hear me say this again so write it down . "Good for U.T. and Fulmer". I admire any coach that stick to their dicipline no matter who it is. By the way SV.........I like your avatar of the home run king!

August 9, 200719 yr Coker will not miss more than 2 games. Fulmer is afraid to kick him off the team.
August 9, 200719 yr Coker will not miss more than 2 games. Fulmer is afraid to kick him off the team. And why would he be afraid?
August 9, 200719 yr I think it's called wins and losses. Ok, he wasn't even the starter last year and the guy who started is still there. Plus, when have you seen a Fulmer team that wasn't deep at the running back position? It's a temporary loss, but I don't think it's gonna kill em' to the point where he's worried.
August 10, 200719 yr Ok, he wasn't even the starter last year and the guy who started is still there. Plus, when have you seen a Fulmer team that wasn't deep at the running back position? It's a temporary loss, but I don't think it's gonna kill em' to the point where he's worried. He was the leading rusher and he missed a couple of games last year. I'd say he had a pretty good chance at taking the starting job, and it at least takes away this depth you are talking about. Coker will play, and play a lot this year.
August 10, 200719 yr Fulmer is not going to keep him out of any meaningful game. I just moved back to Kentucky from Knoxville and this is classic Fulmer. The kid will miss some pracrtice and then will have all of a sudden "fulfilled his obligations to the team" and be ready for game time. Don't kid yourself, Fulmer is not a disciplinarian. "It ain't against the law for you to work, Augustus."
August 10, 200719 yr He will be back for us. Look at how many times Barry and Hank came to the plate compared to the Babe. Give the Babe that many at bats.

I'd say he had a pretty good chance at taking the starting job, and it at least takes away this depth you are talking about. Coker will play, and play a lot this year. He's not better than Foster between the tackles and just had two good ones report to camp. He will be missed, but not like some people think.
