Not sure they can afford him.

They could easily afford him. Just not sure they want to spend that kind of cash.

Saw one report that the Mets were interested and David Wright has already said he would move to 2nd base.

I saw that they were going to get Wright's thoughts on bringing in A-Rod, but I really doubt Wright has already agreed to something like that. I would think the more likely scenario would be A-Rod at short and moving Reyes to second.

I'd say it's between the Red Sox, Dodgers, Angels, Marlins and Cubs.

I heard the Marlins were thinking about moving their 3rd baseman to make room. I don't think I'd move him anywhere! That would help them with their bid for a new ball park though.

I wish the Braves or Reds would get him but I don't see it happening.

The report I saw on ESPN said that he agreed to it in spring training.

Yankees, Its not over until its over. The guy still is a MVP type player, how could you not resign him?

Mets. If he comes to the Reds....forget it....there is less than zero chance.

I believe he'll go to the Mets, not have to move (his residence), and will play 3B. As was said above, I see David Wright going to 2B or a corner OF position.

Why wouldn't A-Rod go back to Shortstop, wherever he goes?

I don't think, after not having played it for a few years and getting thicker in the meantime, he could be a top-flight defensive SS anymore. Just my opinion, Minaya / Randolph may feel differently.

???????? Are you being serious?

Why wouldn't A-Rod go back to Shortstop, wherever he goes?

Wright would be a perfect right fielder. Put Milledge in LF and the Mets outfield is set for a while as would be their left side of the infield. Think of their line-up.

SS- Reyes

2b- Castillo

3b- A-Rod

Cf- Beltran

Rf- Wright

1b- Delgado

Lf- Milledge

C- ??

How would you pitch to that line-up.
