Seriously, could I have asked for a better birthday present? I already have my shirt and hat ordered, and can't wait to have them on display for all 3 of the Reds/BoSox games in GABP next summer.

The Red Sox dominated this entire season, start to finish, both regular season, and now the postseason. Beckett is one of the best ever when it comes to the postseason, and the rest of the staff stepped it up as well. This team is going to be scary good for years to come if they resign Lowell, or go after that high priced third baseman.

As far as the bandwagoners go, I know for a fact that AJG, 98, 5wide, and myself have been fans for quite a while, but the Red Sox Nation is continuously growing, and I love it!

Bandwagoneers don't bother me...I enjoy spreading the joy around. It doesn't take away from my enjoyment in any way.

Congrats to the Sox on their Championship run and to their # 1 fan, AverageJoesGym. :thumb:

Looks like the curse has been lifted.

Thanks! :thumb:

:thumb: People have the right to be a fan of any team for any reason at any time. The more the merrier.

BTW, the Sox will venture to GABP next summer.....June 13-15, I believe.

I'm going to be there all 3 days....:dancingpa:dancingpa I can't wait!

Couldn't disagree more.

The Red Soxs are being what they hated(The new Evil Empire).

If you're referring to how much money they spend, I completely disagree. Every single team, well not all, but most, have the resources to spend that much, but don't. Carl Linder had more money than "The Boss", and look at the difference in payroll. I have no problem with the Yankees, Red Sox, or anyone else for that matter spending the big bucks.

Great accompilshment for them and Red Sox Nation. They are set for many years to come.

Has a city ever had the World Series winner, Superbowl winner, NBA Finals winner, and BCS National Championship winner in the same year? Could very well happen this year.

I would like to see odds on that. There is a very remote chance that it happens. As far as "Best Sports City in America" goes, I will agree with that.

Not unless the Patriots move the 22 miles from Foxboro to Boston. :D:D
