October 29, 200718 yr Woodson is out unless UK wins out. I really like Dixon and Ryan if they both win out. Whoever's team wins out (in terms of Heisman cantidates) will win the Heisman. The way everyones teams are losing, you have to keep Brennan in the mix. So many of these teams like UK, UF, UT, USC, UL, MICH (even though they have won lately), PSU, WVU- all of these teams have at least 2 losses. Players like Ryan and Brennan are not the best players in the NCAA but they have led their teams to undefeated seasons. Overall, the only player from a 2-3 loss team that I can see winning the Heisman is Mike Hart but he has to be consistently good and have a HUGE game against OSU at the end of the year because voters remember "What have you done for me lately" and that could be one of the biggest games of the year.
October 29, 200718 yr :lol:..If he goes, Woodson should go! I really like him, woodson, Mcfadden, Dixon, Ryan from BC, Brohm, Tebow, Smelly from South Carolina, and the back up quarterback from Mississippi State. I like a lot of different players from different teams, get off my back

October 30, 200718 yr It's Matt Ryan right now, IMO...if BC wins out and he continues to play well, I think he's the guy. He erased any memory of a bad game against VaTech with the comeback, so basically he turned what may have been a huge minus on his Heisman resume into probably his biggest strength by showing the grit to come back from a bad game and lead his team to 2 TD's in 2 or 3 minutes or whatever it was...that's what people will remember about that game...and I agree with Herbstreit. That was probably our first Heisman moments...he meets all the criteria right now. His team is undefeated and #2...he is posting good numbers...and now he has one of those classic moments where he leads his team to an amazing come-from-behind win on the road against a top 10 team. After him, I think Dixon is probably second...top 5 team, great numbers, but being on the west coast in Oregon is a disadvantage, IMO...he won't overtake Ryan unless BC loses.
