Have you noticed ever since Chad has been here he only does his antics when the team is winning. I mean back when we were 2 and 14 we didn't see Chad do any celebrating. It was once we started to win he started to do some antics with celebrations and things. But if you have also noticed every time we go on a losing streak, he stops his antics. I think that shows he really does care about winning more than anything else...You really can not convince me that would Chad does has much effect at all to how the team performs on the field.. I mean I highly doubt while on the field, one of the defensive players are thinking dang that chad johnson and his antics, I think I will screw up an assignment now or miss a tackle..Or people thinking well since Chad Johnson is aloud to celebrate, I can go out smoke pot, and drink and drive and be just fine...Now if Chad Johnsons antics ever get in the way of producing on that football field, then it would be a problem to this football team. However his antics has not stopped him from producing on that football field one bit...Chad Johnson is not even close to being any reason why this football team is losing... I mean if you all really think this about Chad, then there is one guy you all need to be getting on more than anyone and that is Marvin Lewis...

Chad isn't the problem. He has put his celebrations on hold untill we start winning again. You did not have a problem 2 years ago when he celebrated, and we won.

Exactly what BGP has been saying all year with the Bengals threads. Problems on defense. Problems with Marvin. Problems with the OL. BGP posters have held these same views the whole season. Except, BGP posters for the most part have said that Chad is ONE of the problems but admittingly down the list.

 

If it was such down the list on why the Bengals are losing, then no one should be wanting him traded. That thread you started, had more than just a couple of people go on there say that they should trade him. So that must mean that they think he is a big problem, if they actually want to trade someone that is one of the best receivers in the league, because if they didn't think he was a big problem then there is no reason at all for why someone should want him traded...That is why I have gone off and said the people are wrong for wanting him traded, because he is no where near close to being the reason why we are losing, and it would just be stupid to trade him...

If they traded Chad,I hope they wouldn't,it would be interesting to see who would be next for you to beat to death over and over again.You have been on Chad forever give him a rest and find someone on the defense to ride for awhile.

This is not like baseball where you can trade an offensive producer, and get say a pitcher like Willis and all of a sudden your team have a better chance to win...I have already discussed this little trade thing with you...We have a franchise QB, so dont you think you want to surrond a franchise QB with playmakers at reciever. I mean just look at Tom Brady, he has proved that he cant even make it all the way, unless he has atleast some better than average receivers. When you have a franchise guy like Palmer, you need to surrond him with guys that can make plays as well. I mean we cant even find a good #3 receiver to replace Henry right now and that has really been hurting this offense. And you want us to get rid of a #1 guy. This offense would be down dramatically. Then on defense yeah you might get ONE really good defensive player in return. But this defense needs alot more than just ONE really good player on it..So after a trade we would be staring at a team whose defense is still not that great, and an offense that wouldn't be as effective as it use to be. So this team probably actually would be worst after a trade...

 

The main problem is Marvin Lewis right now, and also management spending money on players that we shouldn't be spending money on. Like Justin Smith, and I sorry probably even Willie Anderson. Willie is older, and should have been able to know that he woudln't be able to keep playing through the injuries all the time like he use to be able too... If we would have saved that money, we could have went after some guys that actually really might have helped this defense, which is the thing that is hurting this team...

You must be kidding. TO has blasted more than a few pro bowl QBs in the media, Chad has never and I would bet will never air personal problems via the media. I can do without the antics but I will never question CJ's work ethic, the guy can flat out play.
