Greenup keeps the momentum rolling for the playoffs, and wins this one. I know Lewis will come out and play hard, hats off to them, but the Greenup numbers will wear them down.

Good luck to Lewis, I hope they keep their heads up and the underclassmen keep getting better for next season. I also hope that they get some friends to play football next year, and get those numbers up.

The lions will play hard, all 19 of them. GC will win it, but they will know they played a game on Saturday morning.

As for injury report, #26, said he would be back in a couple wks.. #58 get's his cast off next week, hope #76, injury not as bad as it looks, #25 had his knee surgery, he may not be back this season. Hope the coach uses alot of younger players this week and let starters get some rest, and that no one else get's injured.

I agree with you Footballmom40! :thumb: The seniors won't be here next year. This will be their last time playing Lewis Co., so they should get all the playing time they've Earned and Deserve.

We don't need to get our seniors hurt in a meaningless game, we need them when the playoff's start in 3 weeks, I agree let them play, but we don't need any more getting hurt, this late in the season, we just got #2 back, he has been missed. Plus Lewis County only has 19 player's, sure win the game, but don't emberass them, if we happen to put some pts. on the board, and try to run up the score, what does that prove.

Haven't seen Greenup play, but I say they win 42-20. As stated Lewis just doesn't have the numbers. They do play extremely hard and put out the effort to deserve to win every week, but its just hard to play a spread offense that throws it 50 times a game with 19 people. I do think that it's possible that numbers will increase. I've always thought that one way to increase interest is to throw more. It's alot more fun and exciting that running 80 percent of the time. Hopefully the numbers will increase next year because the players who are playing now deserve to have a chance to compete and they will need a minimum of 35 players or so to have a chance. Good luck to both teams.
