Everyone, is praising the Mike Sammons for how the Greenup County Boys played last night but no one is thinking about the boys and how they work together as a team. The Coach didnt play the game the boys did and they did an awsome job. The right plays were not called to win the game when going for a touchdown. (Greenup should have had that GAME!)

I can say GCHS don't have good fans. They set there like, they are in a twilight zone. No wonder are boy are never fired up, it take the fans to help with momentum, and excitment from the stands.

Sorry to say Old Warrior, but I hope Sammons lets the older players, play in most of the games left. This is there senior year for most. Younger player have there own games, senior can't play in.

I was told that #26 sprained his ankle, will be out for at least 2 wks. Good player hope for a speedy recovery. Also heard that #2 is back. Coach changed his postion and that #74 is not coming back is this true? We need a win for the boys hopefully spirit week will help. Go GCHS:dancingpa

If his punishments were forthright and honest, then # 74 wouldn't be suspened from ashland game, because he didn't throw a helmet. If the coach want respect from the boys he should stand up for the players. Coachs choose always seems to benefit certain players, not necessary the team. Agree with the The Man-ning, I don't agree with whats going on.

Punished by more at practice,not set out for two weeks getting out of shape. As for #2 he has not missed a practice. His Heart belong to football, 200%, if not more.

The boys want to win, but the coach sammons acts like he don't.

#2 & #74 will not be back for the ashland game, the coach gave them 2 weeks off. He even took them out of 7th period weight class.:mad:

He might not, It been a very bad year for the senior boy. This should've been a winning year. Most of these boys been together since 2nd grade. In a shame.

I agree TJ Maynard would have took GC Far. But wasn't given a chance. The AD might help I hope. But still need a coach.

Bruce hunt, would've have been a great for this set of boy, they had respect for him. He know want he was doing, theywould:dancingpa still be winning!!!!!!!!

I think they need to run, practice hard. Not sit out get out of shape. Thats so stupid !! If coach don't want to play them in game fine, but 2 weeks with out practice, not going to do thing but hurt.

Justice & Evans is getting two weeks off, so they can be examples. The punishment should be at practice, on the the field not off.

I wonder if Greepup is going to run the ball more, this game? That #2 & #21 get more yardage and 1st downs running. I don't like the new position #2 is playing, he's a great safety, why change?

I really look for both team to play great. It will depend on If greenups quaterback thinks fast and looks to see who's open. The rowan co. game was a little better for him. Greenup had a good quaterback monday night, The boy will be a great asset to greenup in the future.
