Congrats to Bryan Station on the road win. This sets up the district standings as :

 

#4 seed Montgomery Co. vs #1 seed Woodford Co.

#3 seed Bryan Station vs #2 seed Johnson Central

 

I expect a hungry group of Tomcats next week to invade the Nest next week with one thing on there mind. With their season essentially being over, the will be fired up to put together a huge upset.

That would be Terrell Combs. He is indeed a beast. Drawing Major D1 offers. Did Station do a better job of getting him the ball against Ashland, cause against JC he was virtually a decoy at WR.

NOt really, but when he did get it he scored. I think he had 4 or 5 carries for a TD and a reception for a TD with close to 100 yards recieving....

Its been a tough year. But just think, 4 years after our last time missing the playoffs we won state.....I know that doesnt mean much now. But its nice to know things can be turned around quickly.

Just imagine if Ashland had stayed in the district with BC, LC, and Rowan. They most likely would be district champs, and make the regional final. Kinda makes me sick. But honestly how thrilling would it be to be the best team out of a absolutely pathetic district....

I havent seen any recruiting source saying he was. His teammate the RB Wilhite has committed to Minnesota but I dont think Combs has yet.

But your team is struggling to make the playoffs with only 4 teams in the district. How pitiful is it when the teams that make the playoffs have a record of 1-7 or 2-6. Ashland played in a tough district with Johnson Central, Bryan Station, Woodford Co and Montgomery. How would your team or any of the other have done against that competition?
