UK Doubters (vs. UF): When will you start believing?

Featured Replies

You might be right. I think the biggest issue they face is the lack of consistency in the football program. I think it is hard for teams that have been whipping up on them for years to give them to much credit. These teams can say "well we had a bad game", "we underestimated UK" blah, blah..

If UK has several good years of beating these top teams people will change their tune.

For the record...not a UK Football fan but I hope you UK wins tomorrow.

That's dead on...U of L had to go through this process of not getting the respect it probably deserved outside of Louisville. Now UK is going through the same process. It takes sustained success...not one good season and a couple of big wins.

I read this a few minutes ago:

NCAAF: Rattled Gators face ATS experts Kentucky

Kentucky has a 20-game losing streak against the defending BCS champion, Florida. But there’s another, lesser-known, streak that could potentially make bettors a tidy profit this week. The Wildcats have covered the spread in five consecutive games against their illustrious rivals.

Kentucky has the excellent attribute of being able to keep games close, and not just against Florida. The Wildcats have covered the spread in five of their six games this season. They can thank senior quarterback Andre Woodson. He has thrown for 1,786 yards and 21 TDs this season and was the driving force behind Kentucky’s shock win over LSU last week.

Meanwhile, Florida’s problem this season has been killing off games when it has a lead. The Gators have dropped their last two games by four points or less despite having plenty of opportunities to win. Woodson and Kentucky will take advantage of that weakness.

Florida is a 6 ½-point road favorite with the total set at 63 ½.

I'm kind of surprised by all of the people who are posting things like those listed below.

The Doubters didn't think UK could beat U of L: but they did.

The Doubters didn't think UK could beat Arkansas: but they did.

The Doubters didn't think UK could beat LSU: but they did.

At what point do you start believing?

And there's still some doubters didn't think that UK can beat UF,but I Believe they will.:dancingpa

people will believe when Kentucky beats Florida...which isn't going to happen. Sorry. Go Gators

I believe ......they are 6-1 with alot of football left......UK fans more than any should know better. Finish, Finish...nothing short of 9-2 and Bowl win. This is what should be expected.

How about 10-1 and a BCS bowl win....

I Believe...

6-1. Beat #1 LSU, top 10 U of L, and Arkansas. If they can win again today and be 7-1 they should be ranked top 5. By then some people should start to change their minds.
