October 14, 200718 yr I thought Woodson was masterful tonight. Not just his numbers (his 2 INT's were not entirely his fault, 1 he was hit and it floated, the other was a great defensive play and Keenan just stopped coming back to the ball and waited on it), he got rid of it, did not take a sack, kept his composure and checked them into the right play so many times tonight to get the win. But it was a great team win. Lindley's INT, Tamme's play, Lyons nice catches and the big hit, but the DEFENSE really stepped up when they needed them to the most. Just unbelievable!!!

October 14, 200718 yr Brooks really gave the fans a lot of credit for this win. He said that they did to LSU what the USC crowd did to UK last week. Didn't allow them to make their checks, etc.
October 14, 200718 yr Kentucky looked good at times and bad at times. Steve Johnson is an amazing player that's for sure. This man is something else, doing it against U of L and now LSU. UK is now 6-1 and I see them going back into the top 10. A win next week could set them in the top 5. This is a HUGE win for Kentucky football. I have doubted UK a lot over the past months, but after seeing them against U of L and now the best team in the country LSU, it's hard not to believe these guys are for real. Looks like Kentucky could be rolling at 11-1 at the end of the season and playing in the SEC championship game if they play like this for the rest of the year. Good job UK. Woodson could have looked better, throwing 2 INT's wasn't good for his Heisman hope. Johnson and Locke should get a lot of love.
October 14, 200718 yr Speaking of hits, Moncell Allen lighting up the LSU tight end on the kick off was as mean a hit as I've seen in a long, long time. :eek: The speed of Locke is amazing. He made the LSU d-line look slow and has the type of quickness UK plays against on a regular basis in the SEC. :thumb:
