October 14, 200718 yr IMO there are a lot of players on BOTH teams that are going to spend a lot of whirlpool time in this week as well as some trainers and Chiropractors getting more than their share of work. :thumb: Again, what a brutal - physical football game. Ain't it great that UK can hold their own in these physical SEC football games...I think this topped the Tennessee game last year...until now, that is the most physical I'd seen UK play. Also, I have to say, Woodson was better than OK. He stood in the pocket and made the plays to win...nobody is going to light LSU's defense up like they're playing a cupcake...I thought Woodson showed some real poise and grit. I was extremely impressed with his performance...any good QB can roll up #'s when things are going good and the competition isn't top notch...it takes a great one to step up and make plays in the face of one of the nations top defenses, a defense that makes you earn everything you get. Kudos to Woodson, and the rest of the Wildcats. Keep up the good work...

His mangagement with the play calling and false snaps was big.:thumb:
October 14, 200718 yr What exactly happen to Dixon? His last carry was late in the 3rd QT. Derrick Locke is better than him. He should have got the start...that's why I didn't think the absence of Little would hurt UK much. There is little, if any, drop off from Little to Locke, IMO. Plus, with Dixon and the others, RB is one of our deepest positions. Dixon does fumble too much though...I hold my breath every time he carries the ball. I was so relieved to see Locke come in and take over.

October 14, 200718 yr Incredible. My thoughts. -UK was minus 3 starters for the game. Depth stepped up. -UK ran the ball against one of the best defenses in the land. -Woodson wasn't pretty, but for the entire game, he managed the game well. -Derrick Locke a true frosh? Wow! -Jonas Sieber....guts of a cat burglar. -Thought #93 for LSU should have been tossed for his double shot to Woodson's head. -Nice lick laid by Dicky Lyons Jr on his best friend from high school. -Lots of one loss teams loving UK right now. -Too many superlatives to pass out....Trevor Lindley...maybe the most underrated corner in America. -Can Cats dig deep for another one next week?
October 14, 200718 yr No regrets at all. We're 6-1 and we just beat the number one team in the country. A win last week would have been nice but you'll get no complaints from me. No regrets. Looks like now to be a loss to the #6 team (or higher) on the road.

October 14, 200718 yr UK can play with anyone...in my homerism....this kind of makes me think that Louisville still can play with anyone as well......Steve Johnson has to get much love...he has been that X factor that no one outisde of Lexington knew about. I agree. He has really stepped up. Burton was not himself tonight. The ankle still seems to be bothering him. He had a few drops which is very usual, didn't break to the ball on the first INT, and Johnson has given them another weapon. When Keenan is back at 100%, they have a very solid WR corp!
