I agree about the humor of that post. But I think this will be a close game throughout.

I simply can't see it. If they play like they did this past Friday, this thing will be over relatively early. IMO, Mason lacks the physicality to beat a team like Russell.

Russell is very physical but has given up the big play via the pass. I hope you are right though. After going to the Russell/SK game on Friday and going to the UK/LSU game on Saturday, I'm not sure if I can take many more games like those.

The only teams that can beat Russell are the teams that can throw for 275 yds or more, IMO you are not going to grind it out with an Ivan McGlone coached team

I don't think you can compare the coaches. McGlone walks with just a scant few others. No disrespect to Mason's coaching staff....I'm sure they're very good. But McGlone, Hilton, Haywood, Holcomb,Yeagle and a few others are in a completely different class.

I love what Coach Buchanan has done with the program at Mason County. And let's face it Coach McGlone is a legend.

 

I just don't see this game being a blow out either way and probably decided by a touchdown or less.
