Best Freshmen in the 10th Region

I have seen Tregg play and he is an average player, that is unsure in what position he should be palying. He likes to shoot 3's but should really be down low rebounding.

In my own opion Mr. Setty is a little above average.

Kellen Smith of Scott will be pretty good. He is the younger brother of Ryne, who graduated this year.

If he can shoot like his brother he should have a pretty good career at Scott. Coach Carr likes to tee them up and let it fly!

Really hate to say this but Clark County cut a lot of the best players who tried out this year. I was very disappointed they kept some and cut others! I guess when I am head coach I will keep skilled players and not my buddies kids! I wish some of the players would be more vocal when it comes to who makes it and who doesn't.

He has proven he has ice water in his veins....when he stepped up to the line against Scott and hit those two free throws. Robbie is a competitor and will step up to any role that coach asks of him. I love watching him play. He is very unselfish, and athletic for his age. He has promise of being the best player to come out of GRC.

I certainly would agree he may end up being one of the best but the best is a stretch. Didn't some kid named Knowles recently put the cardinals on his back on the way to Rupp? ;)

You definitely have to go with Setty in this one, he can flat out shoot the rock! Stenzel is a solid player but he is a little old for his grade?

Got to disagree with you on this one. Robby Stenzel is the top Freshman in the 10th. at this point. By the end of the season, we will be hearing some new names thrown around....:sssh:

Treg Setty can play all spots on the floor and is effective in those positions. When he is posted up on the block, teams are going to struggle to defend.

Can't question he is a solid player, he has that experience with playing as a 8th grader and got several touches from the attention that Knowles and Jones got from their opponents. Can't wait to see how Stenzel performs in a much larger role now that Knowles and Jones have been lost to graduation.

Stenzel is the top returning freshmen in the 10th just based on talent and experience that he received last year. Doesn't matter how "old", he is a freshmen by all the rules that matter.

No his age doesn't matter. I just look at him as a Soph. Even though by rules he is a freshman.

Based on pure experience it's Stenzel. It depends how you look at this question, who will have a better season this year? or who will be a more talented player by the time their senior year comes around. I think Stenzel will have a better year this year because he will get more p.t. In the long run though I still think you have to go with Tregg Setty. His size and shooting ability are great talents that will enable him to be a REALLY great player in the near future.

Streaky shooter.

Setty has the better upside in my opinion but im a biased Royal fan!!

Streaky shooter.

Welcome to BGP snooze.:thumb:

These three names should be in the future plans of Pendleton County over the next four years....

Michael Walsh- Started varsity in the first scrimmage, has a big upside

Logan and Tanner Florence- Twin guards who will see a lot of JV time
