Isn't it both? They count it as a regular season game, but they also list 1999 as the last year the Reds played in the Post season. Somebody needs to make up their mind, and decide which one it is.

It shouldn't be, IMO...

Interesting stat: This season Jose Reyes had 78 steals and the Fathers had 55...total...

I can't see how its the playoffs since you're allowed to have 40 men on the team.

Well whether it is or not, will tonight's performance cost Jake Peavy the Cy Young?

No. The voters look at 3 main stats - wins, strikeouts, and ERA. I think he's first in all 3 - the trifecta.

I didn't say playoffs, I said post season.

Cameron enters the game as a pinch-runner with a jacked up thumb and continues to play in the outfield. I like Mike...but I still want the Rockies to win...

I do think that Peavy will win it, but you have to wonder if Webb might surprise some people again this year. Webb had 4 complete games to none for Peavy, and 3 shutouts to obviously none for Peavy. Webb also had the 44 plus inning scoreless streak. I think that alone might steal him some votes from Peavy.

I'm curious - why would it be "obviously none" for Peavy when it comes to shutouts?

Well if he had no complete games like I stated, shouldn't it be obvious that he wouldn't have a shutout. :D

You should be impressed at my typing abilities considering the egg that is covering my face.

Bubble screen, missed tackle for a loss becomes 23 yards...more of the same

Wrong thread...Bengals have me all flustered.
