I know the season isn't over yet, but not in my wildest dreams did I see UK in the top 10 this year...

1 Southern California

2 LSU

3 California

4 Ohio State

5 Wisconsin

6 Boston College

7 South Florida

8 Kentucky

9 Florida

10 Oklahoma

 Wow!

As amazing it is to see UK ranked 8 in this poll, it's even more amazing to me just to sit back and think for a second, "That's seven spots away from number one." I never would've predicted they be ranked that high almost halfway through the season.

It snowed 6 inches in HELL last night!!! Go CATS!!!:ylsuper:

Yup, and pigs were flying over the house this morning.

This is usually a pretty good indicator of how the AP will shake out.

How? South Florida just beat a team ranked in the top 5 who had 2 BIG heisman contenders. I wouldn't.

I guess that we are all intitled to our own opinions....

Go Cats!!!

It is a marathon not a sprint....

If everyone that beats a top 5 team moves into their place than Auburn would be there after them beating Florida and Colorado after beating Oklahoma.

South Florida needs another quality win to be considered up there, IMO....

I would not have Boston College in the Top Ten. The ACC is so weak this year and they beat UMass yesterday a FCS (1-AA) team.

UK still has the Second toughest schedule left to go in the Country. But I am happy for their accolades so far this year.

Well IMO I would have them ahead of Kentucky. South Florida was 9-4 last year and beat W.VA in Morgantown. Beating then ranked Auburn at Auburn is a quality win but beating a top 5 team who was picked to go to the national championship, and has 2 great players who could either one win the Heisman trophy, if those two are not quality wins then I don't know what would be.

I never thought I would see Uk ahead of Florida in any poll during my lifetime. GO CATS!

UK has beaten one ranked team this year, they (UL) were in the Top 10, not Top 5...How does that justify UK being ahead of USF?

I have no problem with USF being ahead of us. Are we good enough to pick at another team when a poll has us 8th? Times have really changed for UK football.
