NC State has lost to 3 ranked teams in their losses and are pretty solid.

I think UL uses the past 2 weeks as motivation and comes out fired up for this one. Archer couldn't stop them at UK and don't think he will at NC State either. I think UL wins a close one and gets some confidence back.

Is that the same mortgage that people were telling to put on the UK and Syracuse game?

I don't remember anyone saying that for the 'Cuse game. An 8 point spread and a 37 point spread are big differences.

Harry Douglas is fine from what I have heard. Should be suited up for Saturday's game.

State lost to C. Florida in their opener, who I don't believe was ranked at the time. Their one win did, however, come against Wofford who beat App. State this past weekend.

You know, one would think that Louisville should win this game pretty easily. But you definitely would have thought the same thing before the Syracuse game and the Middle Tennessee game, and both of those games were at home. This marks the Cards first real road trip, so it will be interesting to see how that effects them. I honestly don't know how good this Cards team actually is, so I'll go off of the only thing I can: what I have seen thus far.

UK was a road trip....

UK was a road trip....

Yeah, it was outside of Louisville, but this is the first one that is a great deal away from the UL campus is what I was trying to get at.

With all the red in the crowd and booing when they take the field...Louisville might think they are playing at PJCS this weekend...well that is until the 4th quarter and the fans are STILL there!!!

Does the kid from Lex Cath still play for State? Burke I believe was his name.

Just like your shut down corner. :D Come on I still haven't hear any explanation about that.

He must have you on ignore or something. You've been trying to get something out of him for 2 weeks now. :D

While I'd rather they don't, I can understand the booing to some extent (when Urrutia was acting a fool for example). But leaving early is even sadder than UofL's defense. Leaving is a poor statement; it's basically saying "I only support my team when they're doing well and therefore I am a fair-weather fan and I don't REALLY support the players or the coach at all." I've never left a game early, as tempting as it might be.

Offense hasn't been the problem all year...

No...but it will be an ascertainable difference.

I can be wrong about something I "thought" (DB's, though I still think he is better than advertised), and something that is fact (Brock Bolen is a sick football player).

Louisville is still a good football team. They, as we all know, have some issues on defense. This will get worked out. Cassity is a good coach. Maybe the expectations of some of their fans were too high. They did lose some very good players off of their defense. I still look for them to go 8-4 and be in a decent Bowl Game.

Heard that Willie Williams and 2 other Louisville players were arrested last night...

I'm looking for a link...

Willie Williams has been dismissed from the team...

University of Louisville linebacker Willie A. Williams has been dismissed from the Cardinal football team after violating the terms and conditions of his agreement with Athletic Director Tom Jurich prior to his admittance to the University.

"I'm very disappointed in Willie," said Jurich. "I was confident that he had turned the corner in his life and was ready to be a valuable contributor to society and our football program. We wish Willie the best and hope that he can learn from his mistakes and move forward in his life."

Williams played in three games for the Cardinals after transferring from West Los Angeles Community College.
