Good luck to both teams. I still think Ashland can turn there season around.

Believe in yourselves and you can win . Ashland needs to believe.

First of all I am sure that is flattering to all the Ashland Fans, but I wanna know why you pick Boyd to win in the PoLL Forum if you think it is going to be this ugly?:thumb:

This game is not a district game anymore. Ashland is 5a Boyd County is 4a this game is about pride no matter what the records are.

I have to go with Ashland in this one, but it is really a toss up. To much similarity. Both teams are winless and hungry for a win, and both want to beat the other. Should be one interesting match up. I will go with Ashland +/-7.

Ashland 21

Boyd Co. 16

Who cares, except that the winner probably makes the playoffs?? :D

You must, you made a comment about the game didnt you:irked:

That's right:thumb:

Keep in mind, both teams are only 0-5 and have played some very good teams.

Maybe just symantics, but I would question the "very good" part. They have both faced some teams that have won a lot of games against less than stellar competition.

My understanding...even the loser makes it:thumb:

First of all this is not a district game.

This statement is true for BC. They are in a 4 team district (Lawrence, Boyd, Greenup & Rowan). All 4 make the playoffs despite their loosing records.

This statement is false for Ashland. They are in a 5 team district (Johnson Central, Woodford, Bryan Station, Montgomery & Ashland). Ashland has to beat at least one district opponent to make the playoffs.

Ashland by one TD. First win comes on the road.

I think that Ashland has improved over the last 2 weeks and seems to be gaining some confidence. If Thomas is in the backfield and not QB then Ashland wins but if not and they flip flop then they lose.

And I dont see that happening this year......Ashland will go 0-4 in district. Their only shot at a win was Montgomery...IMO

Thats a sad state of affairs when you only have to win one game to make the playoffs.

Maybe so but I think it maybe Bryan Station.......
