Louisville is giving up over 40 a game to 1 good D-1 and two terrible D-1s the last three, so yes D-3 would score on UL if they are constantly blowing coverage/getting sucked in and letting receivers get 30 yards behind them. The terrible Middle Tennessee team that put up 555 yards on UL was shut out by LSU and lost to Western...so yes, D-3/NAIA players can score on the UL D right now... MTSU has no D3 athletes. Even the strongest KY high school team is filled with D3 athletes. Only ignorance of the game or a chance to get a jab in at a rival would cause one to make such an absurd prediction. There would be ZERO holes to run through, ZERO time to pass, and ZERO open receivers. Other than that....

September 23, 200718 yr Really before this year I would have no opinion towards UL and did root for them in their big games. But after a summer of hearing their fans yapping about BCS Championships and elite programs and all of that hooha I really can't stand the Cards now. UL is a decent program in an average conference. Yes they experienced an uptick the last couple years but are quickly coming back to normalcy. Thats reality whether the Cards fans want to face it or not. BTW I really have no allegiance to any college football team.

They gave up more points to a WINNLESS SYRACUSE than they had scored in the previous THREE GAMES COMBINED. Syracuse's records: 2005: 1-10 2006: 4-8 2007: 1-3 They also gave up FOUR rushing TD's to MTSU. They're giving up 155 yards rushing per game. They're averaging 9.5 penalties for over 83 yards. And they're even in turnover margin. Can't blame it all on 4 guys (who we STILL hear are GREAT athletes)

Either way, if they go out there and bust their butts, I will gladly accept the results for this season.

It's not blind...I have a keen football mind...though I see Kragthorpe's career here in the 'Ville as more of a marathon than a sprint...after 4 games it is about as bad as I could've imagined, but the world is certainly not coming to an end.

Thats fine. Maybe you were'nt one to overestimate the Cards and their program. All the yapping all summer got old. I never said the world was coming to an end but just back to reality. A decent team is an average league.
