24-20 Greenup County. Ithink the kicking game will come into play, fielf position, will be a must, but as always it comes down to blocking and tackling. Also, who controls the line of scrimmage. Also it's their JFL night at Ram stadium. Do you know if the Russian mig will do a flyover the field like last year against NCC?

It is JFL night, my sixth grade boys will be ready for Greenup Co., I hope the 9-12 grade boys are. I don't know if we will have the fly over or not, we have done that several times, I will check and see.

Go Rams the Devils are coming, the Devils are coming.

Greenup County is in for a rude awakening if you know what i mean. Rams will get most of their starters back for this one. I would like to say this will be a close game but my heart tells me different for this one. But I do think it will be a hard fought one but not very close. Rams win big IMO.

Raceland - 44

Greenup County - 15

By the way look for Sparks to have a great game. He should get back on track and knock down 3 or 4 field goals for the Rams.

Denton shoulder, Carver mono, Terry broke ankle, 4 other's hurt, Johnson to Fla. If Spark's is having a big game, then the offense, is not getting in the endzone. I look for Reed to have an impact on the game also.:sssh: :sssh:

Should be a great game even though injuries are part of the game you must play with what you have and make no excuses. Raceland still has a tough schedule left.

Absolutely NO excuse being made here my friend - I think that if you check out some of my other post on the Raceland injuries and/or this subject in the Raceland/LCA game thread or at any other time I have never made excuses and have specifically stated that in my posts.

We here at Raceland are not into doing that. ;)

Interesting. You post a score with Raceland winning, but you pick Greenup in the poll. You better get off that fence, before you hurt yourself.:D

That one is a month away j-r and Raceland has 4 games and a couple of them much more important (district) games between now and then. I think that there will be discussion on that when the time comes. this is a Racelnd/GCHS discussion.

Nice to know that we have your attention though. ;)

I'll go with Greenup Co. in a tight one 28-27.

You are referring to Reed the kicker. I don`t know if anyone is working with him or not but what I have seen of him the young man has a world of opportunity before him as a kicker & is definitely a weapon for Greenup. Good luck to both squads this week.
The way Greenup has played so far, they look like Greenup County school for the blind. LOL

Obviously, you haven't "seen" the Greenup County football team that played in Morehead on Friday night.

Maybe a quote by Helen Keller will help:

“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”

Greenup coming off a big district win, with 4 new faces, in the lineup, we are not the same team, as we were 2 wks. ago. With a new revamped defense, and a more conservative offense now, this is going to be a dandy, when these 2 teams meet, you can throw their records out the door, it's going to come down to who wants it more, I look for a physical game, and who controls the line of scrimmage, on both sides of the ball.

:thumb: I agree 100%. Greenup is a much improved football team. They played very physical against Rowan County and I expect the same type of game with the Rams.

Rams need to get some people healthy and must come out hungry with something to prove to win this one.

Good luck to both teams and I hope they play injury free.

You're right I didn't go to Morehead to watch Greenup play. Why would I take a hour drive when I can see two teams of the same caliber as Greenup play on Monday night?

Greenup 31 Raceland 14

lol

I don't think so...

Who does Raceland think they are playing, "Greenup County School for the Blind?"

Do they have a football team too ?
