Can I have some of what ever your drinking.

You're right I didn't go to Morehead to watch Greenup play. Why would I take a hour drive when I can see two teams of the same caliber as Greenup play on Monday night?

If the team goes in with that attitude against Greenup Co they are in trouble. I don't think they will though.

This is a good game every year. Last season, Raceland was clearly the better team but G.C. came ready to play and almost upset the eventual district champs from Raceland. Thats why I dont think there is a clear cut favorite for this game. But im going to go with the Rams pulling one out in late in the fourth quarter. Sparks could very well be the X-factor for Raceland, I look for him to hit a field goal or two.

:thumb: I agree 100%. Greenup is a much improved football team. They played very physical against Rowan County and I expect the same type of game with the Rams.

Rams need to get some people healthy and must come out hungry with something to prove to win this one.

Good luck to both teams and I hope they play injury free.

Thanks Cvillecat,we've got a couple dinged up too. Yes I think the ballgame will be won by the team that controls the line of scrimmage, this line was undefeated as freshman and they are all seniors. Our line averages 255 weight average. Also Raceland has a good line cause of coach lewis,he does a good job with it, but it very well could come down to which feild goal kicker, which kicks the best. Big game for both kickers.

Like I always say, it will come down to who has the best line. I would say there will be a big battle for the line of scrimmage. The linemen don't get much credit, but, most of the time, they are the ones that will determine who wins the ball games.

Your right Coach Lewis has done a wonderful job, and we are lucky to have him. Good man and good coach.

The kicker battle may be fun to watch. Nice to see so many good kickers around the state. Last week, LCA had a very good kicker, he put all most all his kick offs through the endzone, and was automatic for XP. Very good Kicker. Sparks and Reed are good also, should be a good game.

I don't drink but thanks for assuming that, Greenup is much improved and raceland is beat up I think raceland will be lucky to reach 6-4

Very good post and comments Warrior, all of us "Old" guys :D know about this series and know that this game should be another good one.

Denton shoulder, Carver mono, Terry broke ankle, 4 other's hurt, Johnson to Fla. If Spark's is having a big game, then the offense, is not getting in the endzone. I look for Reed to have an impact on the game also.:sssh: :sssh:

Denton, Carver, Smith, Terry and Tolliver all are back. But think what you want. We all need to dream a little sometime don't we??

For the record Raceland's junior class whent undefeated as freshmen. I honestly don't think anyone on BGP's really care about how either team did as freshmen or in JFL for that matter.

At Rowan County the first play from scrimmage set the tone for the rest of the game. Yates(6'1" 240)s crushed Rowan's best running back. Meenach( 6'0 220) playing middle int. for td. He is playing like an animal as well. Be looking for big hits in this big game. Greenup wants it.:madman:

And Greenup will get it, Raceland will have a tough time.
