If the number ever drops to 20, I'm going to put a poll on BGP so we can vote on who we think will either continue winning or take their first loss. Maybe next week! go purple flash
I like Lone Oak's chances at running the table this year in regular season play. The two most difficult games will be at Calloway (Fri night) & at Hopkins Co Central (Oct 5th). 10 & 0 season would be sweet.

go purple flash
Toothpick, Mayfield's schedule isn't much tougher. I noticed that they share 4 common opponents (Heath, Caldwell Co, Calloway Co & Fulton City). Ballard & Crittenden Co are not exactly powerhouses. Marshall & Paducah Tilghman are a little down this year. Graves is probabaly Mayfield's toughest opponent. It would have been fun to see Lone Oak play Mayfield this year. I have always said Mayfield is the best football program in Western Ky.

Hopkins Central, Obion Central, Union County, Reidland, Todd Central, Muhlenberg North. Mayfield ... Graves County, Marshall County, Paducah Tilghman, Crittenden County, Fulton County, Ballard Memorial. There is no comparsion. Mayfield's is much tougher. Not to mention, if Crittendon, Fulton Co. and Ballard Mem. weren't in our district you certainly wouldn't see them on our schedule, along with Fulton City. Annually, Lone Oak seems to play the same type of schedule. Bottom line, we play two 6a schools and Pad. Tilghman (top 10 3A team). I don't see where you can possibly compare the two schedules. Its night and day.......

Not to mention that Ballard, maybe the weakest team on Mayfield's schedule, has already beaten Todd Central soundly and may beat Reidland and Muhlenberg North later this season. Cynical
Yea and 10-1 after the first round of the playoffs. I looked they above posted schedule up and it is way worse than I realized. This weak of a schedule should be illegal. If they went 10-0 that would mean their first and second round opponents would be teams from their district who they have already beaten, thus logic would dictate that they would be 12-0 before being beaten. Schedules are over rated to an extent. If you're good, you're good.
