youknowme
http://blog.sportscolumn.com/ 5. Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville Brian Brohm threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns on a mere eight completions in the first quarter of a 58-42 shootout against Middle Tennessee State. By the time the game ended, Brohm had a career high 401 yards and five touchdowns to bring his season totals up to 776 yards and 9 TDs. Brohm could be commanding another air assault when the Cardinals travel to Lexington for a game against rival Kentucky. And if the Heisman trophy isn't motivation enough, he should have some added incentive to put a hurting on the Wildcats after the Kentucky athletic department erected billboards of their well-known players throughout Louisville. Lunatic1
I did see one with Keenan Burton on it last week. Louisville does have UK fans , right? Yes there are as many or more UK fans there as UL fans...For some reason they seem to forget that Louisville is located in KENTUCKY so it is a possibility that there are fans for KY in the city. Lunatic1
Are there UofL billboards in Lexington? I do not think so but it would be ok with me if there were..they have a good program and it gives fans something to talk about. There used to be Pitino billboards but after the rioting they took them down:p
cshs81
Are there UofL billboards in Lexington? If UL thought they could get their money's worth by placing a billboard in Lexington, they would. Simple case of economics.

Log Mountain Boy
Are there UofL billboards in Lexington? UK is the state's school. There are a ton of UK students who are from Louisville. I think there is a big difference.

Log Mountain Boy
You're right...It's not like anyone from Lexington attends UL. But there is a lot more students that go to UK from Louisville then there are Kentucky kids outside the "greater Louisville area that go to UL. And again, I reiterate, UK is the state school and Louisville is in Kentucky.
