Can we extrapolate anything from this?

 

No not really. I think Holmes has the edge in this game. Scott has not proven they can mount an offense against a good defense. Holmes has had a week of rest and are coming off a big win against Holy Cross. I believe Dayton was extra motivated going against the coach that deserted them. If anything, Holmes has the speed to match up with Scott's receivers and if they can stop Forrester in the middle it will cause Scott to go to their receivers. If Holmes pressures Delk it could get UGLY.

 

This should be a good game. I will be there, having ties to both sides. I remain neutral as far as rooting. However, I will take Holmes 28-14.

While I agree that Hankinson is a good athlete, I think Holmes has some really great speed in the defensive backfield. I think this game is won more in the trenches. If Holmes pressures Deck, I don't believe he has the poise to put the ball on the mark. Unless Scott is able to establish a running game early, they will not be able to get the ball to their receivers. They cannot keep coming out week after week with that 4 receiver set and expect it to work. They need to find a way to get the ball in Spencer's hands. He is a play maker and unfortunately Scott has been unable to get him into their offensive gameplan.

Robert Hankinson, 6'4 senior reciever, not certain but i believe he wears 81. He has been a three year starter, I personally he is a top 10 if not top 5 reciever in NKY. To bad no eagle will get the credit they deserve because this team as a whole has not produced.

Since Dayton has been brought into it :lol: I think Dayton covered Hank very well, he did almost nothing. So i think Holmes with the speed they have will have little to no trouble covering Hank or any other player on Scotts team.

Didn't do nothing against Dayton I guess because he didn't have over 100 yards that is nothing. Stats for Dayton game 4 catches 81 yards and 1 touchdown. Sure it wasn't the numbers he put up the first week but it was still a pretty good day I don't believe Dayton had a receiver put up anything close to those numbers in the game.

 

Hank gets covered now by the best cornerback on the team they are playing each week and sometimes he gets doubled team, so somebody else needs to step up and catch some balls so they will not be able to double team him.
