Has anyone heard who will replace Troy L. Thomas at Rowan Co.? There are rumors floating around, but I haven't heard anything for certain.

I heard that a former coach from Montgomery County was planning to help Coach Thomas out this coming season.......could this guy work out in a pinch?

Randy Wallace does a good job with the middle school program.

I would love to see Randy get the job. The guy has paid his dues and to be honest probably should have been hired before Tammy Collins.

.....but Tammy certainly had the upper edge on looks:laugh:

I dont know what Tammy looks like, but she definately had to have the upper edge on Randy... J/K :D

I agree with an earlier statement as well... Randy has done a great job with their Junior High Program for years and deservingly should get a shot... Good Luck with this process

It's now official...

John High will be the interim coach at Rowan Co. this year. Coach Thomas is going to help out when he is able to, but John High will be the man on the sidelines this year at RC.

Who is John High?

He was the girls coach at Montgomery Co. , who retired a year or two ago.

Is this also the same John High who was at Whitesburg High School a while ago?

Yes. He's either 2nd or 3rd on the all-time wins list.

I thought Coach High was now the AD at Montgomery....
