Word is that Madisonville 09 G Jon Hood is garnering interest including from the school in Lexington.

 

 

 

Hood is the only player in his class in the state that is ranked nationally. I'm not sure of his ranking, but I'm pretty sure it is in the top 50.

What about Henry Clay, I heard they had some players, names slipping my mind.

 

I am not close to their program, but I would have to think Victor Moses is getting some attention. I am guessing Aaron Boyd is going to play football somewhere.

There are three definitely getting serious D1 looks in our neck of the woods.

I have names of some schools, but I don't feel privileged to release them at this time.

 

There are a number of other young players in the 16th with D1 potential depending upon how hard they work and develop their games. There are many more getting NAIA, D2 and D3 attention.

If Breathitt County has two basketball players being recruited by those schools, I would expect the Bobcats to be a top-10 team in the state.

He is a Junior. I would think that Watts from McCreary would garner some interest but is probably a better football prospect.
