You haven't been looking very closely to the threads, Future C, caus lots of people on here have been realistic and said Beechwood is by far the best team, heads above the rest. I've yet to see one post that remotely said Dayton, Bellevue, or Ludlow could beat Beechwood. I have seen several that said they could compete on any given day and not win, but not lose by 40+

You would be wrong! There have been many people on here that were saying for weeks that Dayton would play with Beechwood, and could possibly pull it out..I know right after Dayton beat Holmes there were many people saying how Dayton definitely would play with Holmes, and right then I said Im sorry but Dayton wont even be close with Holmes. And I had people telling me that I dont know anything about football if I thought Dayton wouldn't give Beechwood a game. So yeah there has been many people saying stuff on how they supposively knew that Dayton definitley would compete with Beechwood...And that is why Is said the realistic thing because if people are being really realistic, and actually looked at how the two teams play this year, it was pretty easy to see that Beechwood would take care of Dayton pretty easily....

Like I said, several said they could compete.......haven't seen any that said they could win.....THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. If I overlooked a thread that said Dayton or Bellevue or Ludlow would BEAT Beechwood, please show me and then accept my apologies. I may simply have missed it

You have made no point here once so ever, and jumped into something that apparently your not sure of...Because when I said realistic people, I was talking to all the people who thought Dayton would even compete with Beechwood, because if they were realistic and looked at things they would have known that they wouldn't..Next time you might want to understand situation a little better before you try to jump in on everything...

Also lets make this the end of it, because STRIKE3 I think was pretty much giving us a warning that this thread is closed if people dont start actually talking about the game and making predictions. If you want to continue this please feel free to PM. If not then lets just leave it to this game...

Lets See Dayton stop the top performer of the week (Logan), how about that future coach? lol

Jarrett Rouse is the QBs name, and the wide receivers name is Grant Logan. He is the brother of Jordan Logan who was an all star at Ludlow. Grant hasn't played football the last couple of years at Ludlow for some reason. However he finally decided to come back out this year to the team and has done great things. He is very fast, with great hands, and makes alot of plays after the catch by making people miss. He had 12 catches last week for 180 yards, and had a punt return of 75 yards to the 3 yard line, but got called back cause of holding. Not to mention a amazing 1 handed interception on defense.. Ludlow has 4 receivers this year who are really good playmakers, and 3 of them didn't even play last year. The only one who did play last year was Buddy Ludsford who set records at receiver last year for Ludlow, but he has pretty much became around the teams 3rd or 4th receiver this year and concentrates more on defense...Ludlow's offense this year is definitely their strength, its the defense that needs some work for Ludlow. However they have improved every week, which is a good a thing...

Yeah and last week that starter threw for his first 100 yard game. The Dayton offense seems to finally be coming together. I also think Dayton's defense will be too much for Ludlow. I'm taking Dayton here 21 to 7.

The stats i heard were he only completed a pass. Also i heard he threw 5 int's. How ever i know he threw 3 against Holmes so im still saying passing is a issue.

Logan is tough, and he is going to need to have another week like that this week. As well as the whole offense, except without the mistakes they had last week which killed them. If Ludlow dont have the mistakes this week, then they should be fine and come out the winner in this game IMO...

Congrats to the Logan kid but I would be more concerned w/stopping the QB, stop him and you don't have to worry so much about Logan.

I know I keep hearing that Dayton does have a good offense to, but have yet to see anything to really prove it...I know I hope they dont prove it this week either...:D

And that is true, that is all you got to do to stop any receiver in any league...Ludlow really does have alot of weapons this year, and as I been saying I think the QB Jarrett Rouse is one of the more underrated players in the area. Because he is a very good QB and can throw and run with the ball. I think I mentioned this last week, but he has been putting up Mike Lewis type numbers this year for Ludlow...

He's been putting up better numbers than that but back when Lewis played they had a little better of a running game with Helmer and Sullivan.

Grant is a vital piece to the Ludlow recieving core. All the coaches feel that while he is smaller than they would like, he has game breaking ability. As for Buddy being the 3 or 4 receiver, in this style of offense there really is no clear cut number 1 WR. Each week a different WR could be the #1 option. It really depends on who is running their routes the best and what the defense is giving them. I would have to say one of the areas I've been most impressed with is the offensive line. While Ludlow hasn't boosted huge running numbers, they have done a great job pass blocking for Jarrett and the wide recievers. I would venture to say that this is the deepest the Panthers have been at reciever in a very long time. Any one of the WR's has the ability to turn a 6 yard catch into something more and score when the ball is in their hands.

I know I keep hearing that Dayton does have a good offense to, but have yet to see anything to really prove it...I know I hope they dont prove it this week either...:D

In week one they shut down one of the fastest teams in NKY and in week two they shut down a Scott team whos line was supposed to dominate the game Scott had one long play and thats it. If Rouse plays anything like he did against Bellevue it will be a long one for him at Davis field were the Devils will be fired up to play after not being there for two weeks Devils win.:flame:
