Grant is a vital piece to the Ludlow recieving core. All the coaches feel that while he is smaller than they would like, he has game breaking ability. As for Buddy being the 3 or 4 receiver, in this style of offense there really is no clear cut number 1 WR. Each week a different WR could be the #1 option. It really depends on who is running their routes the best and what the defense is giving them. I would have to say one of the areas I've been most impressed with is the offensive line. While Ludlow hasn't boosted huge running numbers, they have done a great job pass blocking for Jarrett and the wide recievers. I would venture to say that this is the deepest the Panthers have been at reciever in a very long time. Any one of the WR's has the ability to turn a 6 yard catch into something more and score when the ball is in their hands.

You have been impressed ? There starting center weighs 152 lbs and got blown off the ball every single play in the Bellevue game. If Bellevue had a little bit more speed on there d line Rouse would have been in some serious trouble and that is something Dayton has. I have also heard Searcy the middle line backer will be playing some d line this week which will add much more speed. and he is most likey just as strong as the Bellevue line. As for the rest of Ludlows line i seen nothing even close to impressive.

The stats i heard were he only completed a pass. Also i heard he threw 5 int's. How ever i know he threw 3 against Holmes so im still saying passing is a issue.

Dayton had an 80 yard drive and Ellis passed for at least 60 to 70 of them. I also think Dayton only had one interception thrown this game (Beechwood), and i dont agree that because a quarter back has a bad game, the first game at that. That he should be jugded only on that performance. I see Dayton showing everybody that one lose will not discourage them and that they are a soild team.:D

Here's how I see it. Ludlow will line up and throw to four different receivers. Can Dayton cover those four guys? On top of that, Rouse is very quick when he pulls it down and runs. However, Dayton also has good receiving as well as kids that can run. Ludlow has been prone to turnovers, and Dayton has done well in creating points off turnovers. Should be a great game, my best wishes go out to both head coaches, staffs and teams.

Dayton's defense can cover those recievers. The Daytons db's, besides being fast and very quick, have been playing great coverage. And as for stopping Rouse, Their linebackers an d-line did a great job of shutting down holmes qb, which IMO is much faster.

That line that you just tried to tear to pieces, still allowed Rouse the chance to be able to throw for 330 yards...So yeah with having 5 new starters on the line this year for Ludlow, they have been doing their job, and has been impressive. Especially considering coming into the season it was hard to know what to expect from this inexperienced line...

In week one they shut down one of the fastest teams in NKY and in week two they shut down a Scott team whos line was supposed to dominate the game Scott had one long play and thats it. If Rouse plays anything like he did against Bellevue it will be a long one for him at Davis field were the Devils will be fired up to play after not being there for two weeks Devils win.:flame:

Hmmm I am a little confused because the quote of mine that you quoted was only talking about Daytons offense, yet some reason you quoted me to only talk about their defense??? Yeah everyone knows that the strength to Daytons team is their defense, and the weak part of the team is the offense. Just like for the Ludlow the strength of the team is the offense, and the weak part is the defense...Ludlow is going to put up points on this Dayton defense, and Daytons offense will get some points on Ludlow and it will be a good hard hitting football game...

Ludlow 34

Dayton 21

I think they may do something but not enough to beat Dayton. Like i said before Ludlow- 7 Dayton-21

You could be right, but I seriously doubt that Dayton holds Ludlow to only one touchdown..The 21 points for Dayton sounds close to being right, but I definitely think Ludlow will score more than just 7 points IMO...

Then what is his int vs. td ratio?

Rouse may be quick when he runs. But he dosent even compare to the speed that James Miller has for Holmes. Dayton shut him down and he carryed the ball 22 times

Then what is his int vs. td ratio?

Well last week there was only one int. and the Scott game there was none. The last two games the passing game has really been coming around, and i dont see any reason for it to stop this week.

why didnt they stop elliot then:confused:

So give me the stats. How many td passes and how many int's?
