My son picked up his Halo 3 today. Unfortunately his X-Box 360 broke (again) this weekend. He is beside himself with a new game and no game system. :madman:Thank goodness for extended warranties.

I'm not into the whole alien/monster war game thing.

 

I prefer real life war games. (Call of Duty/Medal of Honor)

 

I wish I had a PS3 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare looks crazy good.

Have you ever played any of the Ghost Recon games? They are very realistic and are awesome for those into realism.

I have never actually played them, but ones that I would love to try sometime. I've seen screenshots, demos, etc. and it does look very good.

Great game. I beat it at 730 in the morning. I was one of the freaks who got it at 12:01 and played it all the way through. The ending reminds me alot of the ending in the first Halo game, where you drive the Warthog all the way through. Now, the multiplayer will take some getting used too. I aint a great sniper like I was in my Halo 2 days but all it takes is a little practice. If anyone wants to play I will ALWAYS be on GT- xTDx AcHiLlEs:thumb::ylsuper:

Gamestop told us they ordered 800 copies of this game and have almost sold everyone of them in 2days.

 

The graphics are ten times better than Halo 2. The blue thing around the screen gets on my nerves though.

Gamers are complaining that Halo 3 video game disks in the limited edition packaging are scratched.

SEATTLE - Within hours after die-hard fans finally got their hands on a copy of "Halo 3," blogs brimmed with reports that special limited-edition packaging is scratching the video game disks.

 

Microsoft Corp., which owns the studio that makes "Halo 3," responded quickly on its Xbox Web site with details for a replacement program. Customers can fill out a form and send in their scratched limited-edition disks for a free exchange through the end of December.

 

A Microsoft spokesman and a member of the company's outside PR firm did not immediately respond to calls and e-mails from The Associated Press requesting more information.

The Gamestop in Paducah was encourage everyone with the limited edition to check the disc and they are replacing them on spot.

I got the regular one too. The limited edition comes with all the extra stuff like the "making of" and what not. Then you can also get an even better one and it comes with an astronaut (Master Chief) helmet. The only way I would want the helmet is if it was big enough to actually wear and then I would wear it to class every day.
